Instead of applying rules of logic to real world problems/arguments, Haaga uses stupid and childish examples of jello and frogs. Logic is one of the most useful classes you can take in college, yet very little of what you will learn in his class can be applied to the real world. Do not take this class if you enjoy learning about applicable logic... |

Great teacher, the quizzes are easy too, and he drops some grades. Final is optional if you're happy with your grade. He opened my eyes to the world of philosophy. Definitely recommended. |

He is THE best professor I've ever had in college. Very clear and easy to understand. Lovely and reasonable. You'll get to know his logic world that consists of JELLO, Jane, frog, and Plato... Definitely take him!!! |

He is helpful. He gives extra points on a test if you dont miss any days of class. He gives you extra credit opportunities. I never used the text book once so dont buy it. He will have a packet for you to buy at the copy center though. Also, Attendance is not mandatory but each class is very helpful. He has extra study sessions outside of class |

Very nice and approachable professor. He will answer any questions you have throughout the semester. Class can get boring at times, but this course really makes you think about morality, reality, and history of ancient philosophers. Awesome professor!! Papers are the hardest grades and tests are fairly easy if you study! |
