My favorite class this semester! Awesome professor who teaches EXTREMELY CLEARLY. I received an A in the class and the material takes patience to understand. Master all the problems & concepts in the logic book for whatever unit you're studying & you'll be set. Helpful for students planning to take the LSAT. We need more professors like him at UH.

I LOVED his class. Logic came really easy to me thanks to his great teaching. Lots of practice and help is available if you need it, and extra credit is also offered. His logic class is definitely the best option for a philosophy course credit at U of H. I also found him very funny and his tangents were interesting. TAKE HIM!

Professor Haaga is by far one of the best professors the University of Houston has to offer. He truly cares for his students understanding Logic and gives you a TON of examples to do exceptionally well with an abstract subject. Work through the workbook and exercises online. If you do, you'll do great and enjoy it while you're at it.

He is amazing. His teaching style is clear as crystal and he goes over things a million times until everyone understands. There is extra credit for coming to class and bonus problems that you get ahead of time. He offers plenty of tutorials, I just never needed them. TAKE HIM. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

He makes this class a lot of fun. He's very clear and precise, and has enough resources for you to really ace the class. He has a quiz every week except test weeks, but those quizzes are easy and if you just do the practice, you'll be fine. Really enjoyed his class.

This is one of those classes, like economics that you either find really easy or really hard. Luckily to me it's super easy. If that's the case then it's an easy A, test every 3 weeks and weekly homeworks. Overall it's a minimum effort class for me but I don't find it interesting at all. Plus there's a lot of extra credit.

Easy A class. Interesting reading for blackboard 5 question quizzes. Test outlines and reviews before exam. Class discussions help with test outline. Exams are online at home with mult. choice and free response graded leniently. Exempt from final if grade is high enough. Overall, best professor I ever had at UH.

Don't buy the book, he has written his own and you can buy it bound from the print shop for $12 or print from BlackBoard. TAKE THE QUIZZES! DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! GO TO EVERY CLASS! Don't miss a day of at least looking over the notes or you will fall behind-I did and it sucked. Summer is intense but really the best way. Awesome prof. Taking Logic 2.

He explains things very well. The class uses an extremely cheap ($12) university-published workbook and as long as you work through the problems you should understand the material. I found I didn't need to do all the problems in order to gain an understanding. He gives extra credit for attendance and bonus problems for most tests, too.

I made an A! Curtis is such a great professor! He is funny and constantly tells us to ask questions for clarification. I asked as many as I could and if you just do your homework it is so much easier. Sure some techniques are tricky to understand but he reallyyy helps you out! TAKE HIM! He drops your lowest grade and gives PLENTY OF EXTRA CREDIT!

This class was hard, but if you pay attaention and prcatice the material you'll be fine. The book isnt mandatory but its very helpful to have on hand considering it is $13. The professor is very helpful and easy to understand and makes logic more interesting than is is.He drops lowest test grade at the end of the course

He's cool but the material is quite confusing. I took this to avoid Math but s was a bit hard. Go to tutorials early and watch the Youtube videos. The book is on Blackboard for free. Go to class for attendance points and the make sure you get the material. It takes alot of time for a subject you'll never use. I hated the inclass quiz. Take hybrid.

One of my favorite professors EVER. He really knows what he's doing and teaches the material very well. I took him for a summer session and got a 105.5 for the class. If you have a good understanding of the material, it will be easy to get an A. Gives extra credit for every test as well as attendence bonuses. You will want to go to class. TAKE HIM!

If you didn't do too well in logic the first time, try it with Professor Haaga! In my opinion, he teaches the same material, but presents it in a way that is easier to understand. He is very helpful. Also there are plenty of opportunities for extra credit!

This prof is great, excellent knowledge and cares abou the subject. Extra credit for perfect attendance, drops lowest test but not a cumulative final, gives extra for every test. The book is not required but a printed workbook helps, though it is online for personal printing if you prefer. Very helpful and has a test review before each test.

BEST PROFESSOR AT UH. Seriously. He makes things so simple. I have never been good at any sort of math or abstract thinking- but the way he phrases things really makes sense. And he's funny, consistent, fair- every quality I've ever needed in teacher. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I'm currently in his logic class and it's pretty challenging... overall, it makes sense. Professor Haaga is really cool. I like him a lot. This is the second time I've taken him. He's pretty lenient and really respectful of his students.
