Intro to L
it
Mrs. Kizza is a wonderful teacher and very sweet. Her accent is very strong and it doesn't really improve throughout the semester. She is very enthusiastic about literature but, the class is very boring. S/N: you need the book to be successful in this class.
ENGL3560
Genuinely sweet woman, and very willing to work with students. However, her accent is quite difficult to understand the majority of the time, and hasn't really gotten easier to understand throughout the semester like I had hoped. However, she does provide the essay questions for each test a week in advance and exams are open book as well.
ENGL1330
Professor Kizza is a sweet woman. She is very nice, and she seems to really love literature. I really enjoyed her class, and I feel as though I learned some new perspectives about certain works that I had read before. Her accent is hard to understand and the tests are somewhat difficult, but if you work a little, you can make an A.
ENGL335
I have taken two English courses from Dr. Kizza. And I'm taking another course from her this semester (Fall 10). I absolutely love her! She's one of the best professors ever. Those that speak bad about her and her class are just lazy and expect to be spoon fed. Take her class! She's the best!
ENGL201
I love Dr. Kizza- she's really sweet. The class itself is quite boring and far too basic but at least it was an easy grade.
ENG201
A sweet woman who is very excited about what she teaches! She's always smiling. Her accent is tough initially but you'll soon learn to piece together what she's saying. She is also willing to give you an extension on essays and other projects if you are having trouble. If you can catch her teaching African lit. or slave narration sign up!
ENGL335
Dr. Kizza is an uplifting professor who encourages you to learn. Her accent is thick, only because she is passionate about her work and she is always willing to help anyone who is interested in helping themselves.
ENGL335
Her class on African-American Slave Narrative Tradition is very well taught and involves group work and presentations. She is enthusiastic about the literature and keeps the class interesting. Her accent is pretty thick, but its also quite pretty.
ENGL201
Dr. Kizza is such a smart and sweet woman. She has a think accent, which can make her difficult to understand/hard to listen to at time. Her class is pretty easy, but you will walk away from your class with something.
ENG201
Her class is way too easy. She is not the professor to take if you actually want to learn. Her lit analysis class is basically a review of what you should have learned in high school freshman English. She's a smart lady who knows what she's talking about she has just dummed the class down way too much.
ENGL201
She can be really hard to understand because she has a heavy accent. If you can get past that, she's a pretty good teacher. Her essay tests are hard though. She grades the tests hard but the essays are pretty easy. Boring class though.
ENG 332
Really cool and funny, with a heavy accent and thick eyebrows and a long reading list. But I liked her, and she knows her subject matter. And she gets her point across "one way orr ze ozer." hahahahahahahaha
Engl 201
Prof. Kizza is from Uganda or something and I honestly could not understand a word she said. The material was interesting, but she didn't really do much with it. There was a lot of busy work and she kept us after class every single day. She's a really sweet woman, but not such a great teacher. I dreaded her class everyday.
ENGL 201
Nice professor, but not very thought-provoking. Class was way too easy! But when she attempted to grade a little harder she graded unfair. Always willing to help, but kinda does a yo-yo with the grading depending on her mood.
ENGL 201
Nice, helpful, but not very thought-provoking. If you really want to learn... shes probably not for you.
Eng 133
Her accent is really hard to understand. However, she is always smiling, and she gives easy homework. I only wrote two papers. She's really nice if you can understand what she's saying.
Engl 133
She is a nice woman, but you can not understand a word she says! She is also a tricky grader. Sometimes she'll be easy sometimes she takes off for the stupidist things. Her exams are hard, because she doesnt tell you what she wants written. On one exam the average class grade was a 62.
Engl 122
Her accent is somewhat hard to understand at first. It's hard to pay attention in her class because she just rambles on about the same thing for most of the class period. She's nice though.
