"Get ready to read" "Lectures are long" "Big time extra credit"

I regret taking his class. Ther eis an incredible amount of reading to do and half of his readings are outdated. I feel his class is sorta biased and very unhelpful except when he gives a test question out. he will give an incredible curve for the tests but personally i would rather have another professor instead of dying of boredom here

POLS 1336 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: A

There are 3 exams and weekly quizzes from lectures and readings. Long readings that may be annoying are required to pass the quizzes/exams. Other than that, the class is awesome and he is funny!

The lectures are boring and I didn't learn anthying from going. There are 3 exams and weekly quizzes. Quizzes are pretty easy, they are over chapters in the book and supplemental readings. The tests weren't so easy. Luckily the class is curved! If you enjoy government and like reading then you'll be fine.

He just needs to go. His lectures are boring, his is not helpful at all (leaves class w/o staying to answer questions after dismissing class, his TA is rude, & his tests are noting like the reviews.

This professor is not helpful at all. Most of the time in the lectures he talks about himself and the only helpful thing about them is he sometimes tells you a question that will be on the test. There is a lot of reading to do in this class and most of tests are over the supplemental readings.

Lectures can get pretty boring, but I would suggest attending even if you barely take notes because he'll many times give out certain questions that will be on the test. Power Points are posted online. The TA, Markie, was extremely nice and very helpful. 3 tests and quizzes on the readings. A lot of the answers for the quizzes can be found online.

POLS 1336 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Anything above an 80 is an A. The tests aren't hard. He posts his PowerPoint presentations online, and I know a lot of people that skipped lecture to just use those. The weekly quizzes are pretty annoying but not too bad. Some may be upset with how politically incorrect and boring he is. It's an ideal class for someone just wanting an A in POLS.

At first very apprehensive of taking him but boy was I glad! The curve is 80 and above is an A! WHAT IS THAT!? This is not organic chemistry. Exams were easy as long as you study the powerpoints. Weekly Quizzes that are unnecessary but I strongly recommend him for those who need a pols 1336 class.

As boring as class may be, make an effort to go. He points out a lot of questions that WILL be on the test and sure enough they are. A lot of test questions involve class discussions. Easy class.

I highly recommend taking Tedin. Anything 80 and above in his class is an A, so that curve is reason enough to take his class. Also, do the LearnSmart activities as study tools for the test. I got an A and slept through most lectures and occasionally skipped class.
