She is an absolutely wonderful professor, she truly cares about her students and is always available. Make sure you do the journals. She likes when you ask questions when you're trying to clarify something. I recommend this class, you'll love it!

Adela is a passionate teacher.. I learned a lot in her class. She is often late and unclear about hw and assignments due dates but her class is extremely easy.

I had this teacher for a summer course and let me tell you it was the best experience ever! She is so sweet and helpful and really makes you think from a radical perspective which is just amazing. Definitely a class that I have grown from and will take with me into the future.

She is the best professor ever. If you are not able to pass her class then you most likely need to brush up on your study skills. You must think critically when she ask questions to you.

I must say Professor Lopez was my favorite teacher! I had her in the summer which was a fast pace 5 weeks & she still provided the best teaching and learning experience I've ever had. An amazing teacher who cares so much about her students. There's lots of reading, but she loves when students go to her for help. I wish all my classes were with her!

Really nice teacher. I agree with everything that the poster on 5/24/10 said. She makes u think outside the box and not merely memorizing things that are useless. You learn to develop analytical skills which helps later on with reading the many articles. Great teacher!

This teacher just goes off on random tangents.She gets pretty **** as well on some of her discussions. The bright side is you litterally dont have to do anywork to get an A.

she talks alot, doesnt give clear instructions of what needs to be done. It can get boring but the videos are interesting to watch. shes helpful if you ask, she is unorganized but shes cool and very nice.

She's amazing! I think the individuals that found her to be boring are people who don't appreciate education. She teaches outside the box... a lot more than memorizing definitions. What you learn in her class are skills that can be applied to everyday life. If you don't understand how to write the journals... just ask!

she's horrible. not horrible, but she is so unorganized. she doesn't stick the curriculum and expects you to have journals done without clear instructions. class is boring. she is however nice.

Her class is really boring! all she does is talk and repeat what she said last class. Gives u a quiz on syllabus-so dumb! but she is very nice and helpful. Responds to emails quick.

A wonderfull person, who provided her student valuable information. If you needed help she was there, she even gave her students her cell phone number. You do need to put effort, and do the assignments. I had an amagizing expirience attending the course

Adela is a great teacher. Her class is so important and relevant to sudents. If you need to take an ethnic studies class TAKE THIS ONE! You will gain an understanding of the chicano culture and you might find you have a greater appreciation for all ethnicities. It is an easy class but also one that makes you think. Those are the best kind!

A. Lopez does not like hearing anything other than what is "right" or something that can meet to what she wants. You cannot challenge what she teaches. Books were never used. Classes were useless. Easy class though.

She's such a saint! She wants to make it my mission to help others after every class. She's incredibly unbiased and she's always avaliable. TONS of extra credit opportunities so if you fail, thats you're fault. Pretty sure it would be impossible to though. Take her class =)

She is a really great and easy teacher. She gives essays but as long as you do them you pass. Does really rewuire much form students other than the essays but they are based on your own life so that makes it even easier. I would recommend her to everyone.

Adela Lopez is not unbiased in her views, as most of us aren't, but she is still a wonderful professor. She is also one of the few at Fullerton College willing to risk her standing with the college president and others in the useless administration to speak up for the needs of her students. Truly an inspiration! Take her! You will love her spirit!

Woooooow! An amaizing teacher who loves her students and makes me happy that proffessors like her are an inspiration to their students. She is very dedicated in her work. If you want to get an a in her class just do the work and don't worry about anything else. One of the best teachers that I ever took.
