Dr. Vu is a good teacher and I will not recommend taking this class online! His very compassionate about teaching and his stories are funny. If you take him see if has a student assistant...(his SI saved me!!)If you going into the medical field some of his questions test on his test are critical thinking.

Hard to pass his class if attendance is poor. Exams AND pop quizzes are all critical thinking and problem solving. NO extra credit. He's funny and passionate and if you are looking to be a doctor or nurse, he will be the perfect professor that will help make the material "stick". RECORD HIS LECTURES. Trust me. He goes fast.

Dr. Vu is the best teacher I have ever had. He is hard, but fair and is willing to help if you ask. If you are serious about the medical field and want to learn the RIGHT way take him, if you want any easy A forget it. You will study more for this class than any other. Critical thinking a must and record his lectures it will save you!

He's a great teacher and absolutely loves what he does. He's a character and I personally loved his class. The tests may be more difficult but he'll help you as long as you ask for it. If you take this class I HIGHLY recommend you go to all of the lectures

Professor Vu is REALLY hard!! I took him for A&P. He is a good lecturer, & hes funny/cheerful, but his TESTS are HARD!! They're really tricky. & it almost seemed like what he talked about in lecture wasnt what was on the tests. *sigh* be prepared to STUDY!!!!!!!

Personality: Cheerful, Energetic and Enthusiastic about subject. Pace: very fast, recommend use a voice recorder. Test: Extremely detailed/hard, recommend alot of time devoted to studying. No study review. Overall great teacher but be prepare to STUDY!

He really is a gifted teacher. His story contributes to his everyday teaching because of what he's been through. His class however is extremely difficult if you've never taken him, and his accent makes his lectures hard to follow at times. You must do the work or you're not going to make it after the drop date, I guarantee you that. Overall good!

He is, by far, the best professor I've ever had. I took him for A&P1 during the summer. It definitely wasn't easy lol He expects nothing but the best from his students & as long as you put the work in you will do well. I got an A in A&P1 and currently taking him for A&P2. If you're a slacker and looking for an easy A, I wouldn't recommend him.

He is a great teacher and you can tell he loves what he does. I appreciate his sense of humor and teaching skills, but his class is exceedingly more difficult than other profs who teach the same class and I don't think that's fair across the board. He also moves very fast so if you miss something, good luck trying to get it later...

I think he is an awesome teacher. He is the dept chair which means that his time gets divided, but students are always 1st. My problem is that while yes, I can understand him, when he's talking about terms I'm not familiar with, I don't know what to write down. I don't get an idea of the spelling because of his accent and it's super frustrating!!

An A from Dr. Vu means more than an A from any professor I've ever had. He loves the material and he is dedicated to making sure you understand it too. This is not an easy course, and it shouldn't be. He explains things so you remember them well. Don't take the class if you can't put in the study time.

Dr Vu not an easy teacher but a very good and clear teacher he will get you to remember things for life. If you aren't a student willing to study DO NOT TAKE HIM you will FAIL, but if you are willing to study you will learn a great amount in this class.

He is a hard teacher, but he is a fair teacher. He really wants you to know the information he gives and not just float through his class. Just pay attention, show up, and don't get behind, especially if you take it in a 6 weeks summer class, which I did. It wasn't impossible, just time consuming. I even made it out alive and with an A.

Coming back to school after 20 years, I took Dr. Vu (AP 1). Beginning of the class I didn't do good (got Cs) but with the help of SI (assigned by Dr. Vu) and my study group I ended up with an A and am taking Dr. Vu (AP2) again, can't wait for the challenges. If you work & study hard, I guarantee you that you will do great in his class.

i usually breeze through any class with an A but not his class, you will learn not to procrastinate from his class, made an 88 so i'll probably take the subject again to get that A, i would recommend him if you want to actually learn the material and not forget it as soon as the semester is over, if not there are plenty easy professors out there

He's a very nice man and the smartest teacher I've ever had. He makes you learn a lot but it is not impossible to do well. You have to commit a lot of time to studying! I remember almost everything from that class compared to others where I just forgot everything after.

Took Dr. Vu online which I only recommend if you have strong study skills as Anatomy can be a very hard subject to learn on your own. His "lessons" are powerpoints made by the books publisher which is not any different from reading the book. By the end of the semester only 11 were left out of 30 !

Dr. Vu is not as hard as everyone makes him sound. I didn't buy text book for this class and never read anything other than the power point notes provided. Just attend class regularly and take good notes since a lot of his questions come from lecture and you will miss those points if you don't attend. Made 100 on every test he gave.
