I took Professor Simmons' class online this summer and it was very stress-free. A lot of reading assignments, but only 2 essays combined with other smaller writings. Her expectations were always clear and concise, so follow the rules and you will be fine. It's probably the easiest Gordon Rule class I have taken thus far.
Too much reading for a Gen. class, specially during Summer semester. 2nd homework has 9 items to read, including reading from NY times and watching a you tube video.
Professor Simmons is a very good teacher. There is a lot of writing involved but it is an English class. Very helpful and responds to questions in a timely manner. I would totally recommend her to anybody.
She gives a lot of work. Be prepared! But it's all really really useful and I learned a lot from her class. She responds pretty quickly to emails and her online class is very easy to navigate and understand. Take her class if you can!
