PS101
As a senior, I am typiclly less motivated than the rest of the class. However, I really enjoyed PS101. I went to every single lecture as Professor Caine was very informative and he was the kind of professor I liked. (passionate and genuinely a nice guy) I easily got an A after going to lectures, going to discussions, and reviewing the outlines.

Best professor at BU. NOT an easy A. You have to actually study to get anything above an 85. Caine is enthusiastic, clear, and really cares about what his students think of his teaching.Take this class even as an elective if you can. Worth the time and effort! Love you Professor Caine! Keep teaching!

Caine is the man! Damn, the guy has passion for what he teaches. It's infectious! Take this class and discover a whole new world. I wish every professor was this fearlessly passionate about their field of interest. I would highly recommend this course. Trust me, you'll learn a lot.

Dr. Caine is one of the best professors I had at BU. If you want to learn everything there is to know about drugs, take this class with CAINE. He is very fair in grading and truly cares about his students. He frequently uses anecdotes to explain concepts. Simply put, he is a dope professor (no pun intended).

Definitely one of the few professors that I've had who truly cares that we learn something. Exams are fair and straightforward. Caine is a professor everyone at BU should take a class with

Awesome teacher. Probably one of the best teachers I've had. He makes you learn information that is actually interesting and that you will remember long after this class. To those who feel it's too easy, you're probably just a masochistic premed. I'd rather learn relevant info than which receptor does what with which drug. Keep teaching!!!
PS333
Dr. Caine is by far one of the best professors I've had. He's incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and very fair in terms of what he expects from his students. This might be the only class I've ever had where I didn't have to study tons before a final because you leave class each day actually having LEARNED something substantial. I recommend it.

Caine is absolutely amazing. His teaching style is certainly unique and his personal anecdotes really help you consolidate the content. From day 1 you can tell Caine has a passion for the material, a quality I only wish every professor had.

I think this site asks the wrong questions, or at least doesn't ask all the questions it should. If the site asked if the professor is knowledgeable about the topic, cares, about his students, able to meet outside of class, cares about students, etc, he would have a perfect rating.
PS 333
He is a very fair grader. You can tell he loves teaching and is very, very knowledgeable about the topic taught (drugs and behavior). He really care about his students and tries to do what's best for them. He's very organized and if you're into neurobio, you'll like the class.
PS333
Caine truly is the most intellectual and passionate professor I have had here at BU. If you want to learn everything there is to know about drugs, he is the man who you should speak with. His anecdotes are not only entertaining but are essential for how I remember everything so well when I leave class.
PS 333
I really enjoyed this class. Everybody coming into Caine's courses should know what to expect. For the students who don't appreciate his style of teaching, please do not take the spot of someone who really would. You'll learn as much as you put in. The complaining students should pop an alprazolam and relax because Caine's a great professor.

One of the best if not the best prof. at BU. He genuinely cares about his students and wants them to do well. He doesn't try to trick you, or give you useless info that you don't need to know. Anyone who believes that he doesn't teach pharmacology is 100% wrong. Very cool, and very intriguing lecturer. If you don't take this class you missed out.
PS333
Dr. Caine's obvious enthusiasm and extensive knowledge in the field makes this by far the most engaging course I have taken at BU. As oppose to the many BU psych professors who expect students to memorise chunks of the textbook for the tests, Caine uses a more lively approach via class discussions from which you can learn an incredible amount.
PS333
One of the best professors I've ever had at BU. The man is so incredibly intriguing that it is a challenge not to pay attention. He genuinely cares about his students and will constantly solicit feedback. He presents the most interesting and prevalent information; rather than bombarding you with every possible useless detail regarding drugs.
PS 234
Professor Caine really knows what he is talking about. And he really tries his best to make Psychology of learning as interesting as it can be. Sometimes he will talk about some hard concepts without making sure everyone understand what he is talking about during his lecture, however his tests are easy. A good class in general.

Fantastic teacher! It has so far been the most interesting class I have taken at BU, and he really wants you to learn and do well! Would seriously recommend!

Dr. Caine's research is interesting and his enthusiasm inspiring. Sadly, his class is remedial and briefly introduces pharmacology. The fact that the average on the midterm is about a 90% demonstrates that there is a lack of any real challenge. I had high hopes for this class, but if you want to learn something take it with Kantak or Hasselmo.

This was an easy class for me but, I don't appreciate that people who don't know half as much as I do get the same grade as me. He is actually a smart and funny professor and he can teach better. He could cite more research rather than wasting so much time on personal stories. He is also super cocky and kind of mean during office hours.
