Dr. Christy is one of the best teachers at RIC. She is an overall great teacher. She is always willing to help you, gives handouts useful to teacher, and always refers to her students at "future teachers". She goes over everything in detail especially what is covered on exams. Definitely take her, she's the best!!

Amazing professor. She is always there if you need help. If you dont understand something, she will work with you until you do understand it. Take her class if you get the chance.

Great Teacher. Always using models "from the field" (from children) showing the thought process and other possible outcomes to problems. Assigns homework from the book, but also handouts. Went out of her way to help and make sure the material was understood. Highly suggest this Professor!

I had Dr. Christy for multiple classes and extra cirricular activites she is one of the most wonderful and amazing professors and peple I have ever met. Her knowledge is limitless and her ability to share her knowledge is a true gift. I HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend her for any math course. You will not regret it!!!!!!!

I struggle with math and her class has been so helpful. I made sure to sign up for her math 144 class. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests, she's fair, hw takes a while but she accepts it late if you fall behind. She just wants you to learn. She brings in examples from real classrooms and always keeps your future as a teacher in mind.

She is the best teacher I ever had at RIC, actually the best math teacher I ever had period! I took math 143, 3 times and she was nice enough to add me to her class the fourth time and I got a B-. I am a horrible math student, but she was so good to me, I love her and you will too. Take her for math, you will be the luckiest student in the world!

I haven't had her as a professor, but she is my adviser at RIC for secondary ed. I have NEVER met a woman with a bigger heart. She will do anything in her power to help you and make sure you have everything you need. She is an extremely genuine person and it's always a pleasure to meet with her!

Dr. Christy is the BEST! So helpful! Definitely take her if you struggle in Math. She does a great job of explaining the material and is more than willing to answer questions if you don't understand something. Truly a professor that cares about her students!

Dr. Christy is one of the best Math teacher's i have ever had. She is very helpful and really nice. She i very leanient on tests and she only gives exams no quizes. But she does give a lot of group work but its really easy. Homework is easy and she gives an answer key with each homework assignment. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE IN ELED CLASSES!!

She is the best teacher ive had at RIC, she cares about helping the students and is very clear with everything she is teaching. Wont move ahead until your ready. Many take home quizzes which boost your grade up. Also group activities are easy, yet boost your grade up also. I would reccomend her to anyone that struggles in math and needs extra help.

By far the greatest teacher i have ever had. willing to help you out with classes even if she doesn't teach the class. extremely fair, listens to students, has a genuine care for her students. DEFINETLY take as many classes with her as possible. i have never heard anyone say anything even remotely bad about her.

She is amazing!!!! I honestly think she's my favorite teacher. She is very down to earth and extremely sweet. She talks about her life and lets you know she is real too. She dressed up for Halloween... it was cute. I wish I could continue classes with her but you should def take some!!!!

Had her for 143 144 amazing..hard classes, but she is the best, so caring my dad passed during the semester in 06, she was so understanding and patient with me. I would have never taken calculus unless it was with her.She is there to help. Theres alot of hw but she is so flexible on when u hand it in. u can hand it in whenever you want n she doesnt mind. There is no pressure in her class. There are quizzes and a lab or two but they help you for the tests. She tells u exactly what is goin to be on the test.

I dont have the exact words to express how good this ateacher is. Everyone dreads Calc. If you do all the homework and there is alot of it,labs, quizes and extra credit and study for the exams which test syou to see if your paying attention you will do fine. I was able to go to her office, email her and always got a quick answer.

Dr Christy is by far the best professor I have ever had in any of my college courses. If you show up for class, pay attention and do the homework you will have no problem. She also gives you points for homework and group work so your grade is not dependent on what you score on the two or three exams and the final. No Pressure!

This was the 2nd time I took this course. What a differnece Dr. Christy made! She gave me hope that I could actually pass this class!!! She made difficult material easy to understand. She knows her stuff and is an EXCELLENT teacher. She is very fair and is thorough in her teaching.

A great caring and devoted teacher. She has experience with young kids, so she knows what she's talking about. She has a way of opening your mind to new ways of thinking about basic Math. Yes, there is quite a few homework assignments, but this prevents you from craming for an exam. Plus, not picky of due dates. Very understandable too.

There's a reason you can not get into her classes. She's amazing. Try to hardest to get in, even if it means taking a friday class. SHE IS WORTH IT.

Great teacher, extremely pleasant, and very helpful. Class goes by fast and she explains things so well that even if you didn't know much when you started you will learn before you leave. Can't say enough good things about this professor!
