Dr. Christy is one of the best teachers at RIC. She is an overall great teacher. She is always willing to help you, gives handouts useful to teacher, and always refers to her students at "future teachers". She goes over everything in detail especially what is covered on exams. Definitely take her, she's the best!!

Great Teacher. Always using models "from the field" (from children) showing the thought process and other possible outcomes to problems. Assigns homework from the book, but also handouts. Went out of her way to help and make sure the material was understood. Highly suggest this Professor!

I was not surprised to see she has over 12 pages of great comments. Its crazy because math is hard for alot of students, but she makes it fun and understandable. BEST BEST BEST professor EVER. you would be silly not to take her.

I had Dr. Christy for multiple classes and extra cirricular activites she is one of the most wonderful and amazing professors and peple I have ever met. Her knowledge is limitless and her ability to share her knowledge is a true gift. I HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend her for any math course. You will not regret it!!!!!!!

I struggle with math and her class has been so helpful. I made sure to sign up for her math 144 class. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests, she's fair, hw takes a while but she accepts it late if you fall behind. She just wants you to learn. She brings in examples from real classrooms and always keeps your future as a teacher in mind.

I haven't had her as a professor, but she is my adviser at RIC for secondary ed. I have NEVER met a woman with a bigger heart. She will do anything in her power to help you and make sure you have everything you need. She is an extremely genuine person and it's always a pleasure to meet with her!

Dr. Christy is one of the best Math teacher's i have ever had. She is very helpful and really nice. She i very leanient on tests and she only gives exams no quizes. But she does give a lot of group work but its really easy. Homework is easy and she gives an answer key with each homework assignment. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE IN ELED CLASSES!!

she was amazing! i suck at math and shes the only teacher that taught in a way for me to understand, and shes more than willing to do extra help, her expectations are clear and reasonable. i would take her over and over and over!
