MATH111
I got out of this class with an A and it was easy. However, if I could go back and do it again, I would have taken it with a different professor. I'm sure Dr. Arroyo is a perfectly nice person but the fact that it took me a week to begin to understand her drove me absolutely postal. Math 111 is easy enough, jhust try to avoid Arroyo.

she is a bit hard to understand at first and very boring but all of her notes are online and she gives very accurite study guides. i had her for prob/stats and made a 97 with math as my worst subject.she is always willing to help and goes back to each individual students grade to tweek it higher if she can.even get extra cred for showing good work.
Math111
Many people do not like her because of her accent, but she is a pretty good teacher. If you go to her office hours it will help you. I went to her office hours the day before the exams and would get 98s because of the extra points and what not. She also have a sense of humor ad is sort of funny. Overall she is an above average teacher.
STAT134
Everyone said she was a great teacher but not in this class I couldn't really understand her. At first I was going to drop the class but then someone said she was really good so I decided to stay in but she doesn't explain much and she gets mad if you ask her any questions about the material.
MATH311
I have had Arroyo for multiple classes now, and she is wonderful. Her notes are posted online, and she only counts about half of the hw towards your grade, the rest usually ends up as extra credit. She is always available for help, and will work with you until you understand the material.
STATS134
This lady is the worst of the worst. You can't understand a word she is saying. She doen't give you extra credit and when you ask a question she doesn't want to answer it. She sometimes says she doesn't have to work. She doesn't help you at all. If you had to take STATS I prefer you take a professor that speaks english and explains the material.
Mat134
She is a nice person but English is not her first language which makes it hard to understand most of what she says. She gives out power points and reads them instead of teaching. She expects you to memorize several formulas and doesn't give partial credit on anything. If you are bad at math or haven't taken a math class in awhile-steer clear.
Math111
The class is EASY(currently have a 83).... but she takes points off for almost every thing; like equal signs and also if your ANSWER IS RIGHT but you skip a step. She pass the attendance sheet around everyday before class even starts. NEVER lets us out early and SHE IS ALSO VERY BORING!!!

If you enjoy being babied through a course, this is the woman for you. But first make sure you can understand her accent.

She is the easiest math teacher I've ever had. She posts her notes on blackboard, gives you homework that she basically goes over in class, and her tests come straight from the homework. People who do not at least make a B in this class should not major in business!

Overall, this course wasn't very difficult. I'm not going to lie, the class was boring, but not that hard. She offers a lot of extra credit and her grading is fair. She gives excellent notes. All you have to do to get a A or B is do a good job on the homework. All you have to do to get a A is study the hw and quiz problems.

The teacher was great - the students in the class were retarded. They made fun of the instructors accent - I felt like I was back in grade school.

I found her extremely hard to understand. Her accent just hindered my learning in the beginning but once I started understanding her it was too late to save my grade. I wouldn't recommend her unless you already knew the math she was teaching. I was a math major and still had difficulty.

Easy teacher. Does treat you stupid when you ask questions in class. But if you go to her office she will help you out. She gives a homework packet every test they are just like the test. Got an easy A in this class.

Professor Arroyo is aggravating. She is very hard to understand, but the notes are posted online. It is not necessary to pay attention in class, unless you don't understand the notes. She is only helpful if you come by her office, but when you ask a question in class she treats you like you are an idiot. She also talks to the whole class like they
