CHEM1201
He's not as bad as people say he is. He does read off the slide and I usually don't pay attention, but if you go visit him during office hours he does actually know what he's talking about. Quizzes are not that difficult, tests are a different story. However he does offer a generous curve.

Very time consuming mastering chemistry online assignments. 10 inclass quizzes, which are very difficult. Exams are quite hard as well. Just an all around difficult class. However, if you go to his office hours and get help from him, your grade might be increased.

Turn back now. Your only hope with this guy is if you are a god at teaching yourself or are good with group study. Bombards you with homework so trust me your social life will be ruined unless you really know what your doing.

He is absolutely the worst professor I have ever taken. He reads straight from his slides, and if you ask any questions he will make you feel dumb for not understanding the information. I missed a part of my older sisters college graduation because he would not allow me to take the final earlier than the date specified. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!

Avoid him at all cost. I've heard horror stories about professors , and now I'm sad to say I now have an experience with one also.

He isn't as bad as people say he is. He is a bad teacher because he just reads from the textbook, but if you can teach yourself the material from the text, you should be fine. Also, make sure that you do the self quizzes instead of cheating because they are important and helpful. Finally, make sure you take the class seriously from the beginning.

He gives random quizes which are essentially weighted as tests. He teaches by putting pages of the text book on the overhead. The highest grade on the midterm was an 84, I think that says something.

This professor usually gets a bad rep with general chemistry. However, Chemistry and the World Around Us wasn't bad. Here is some advice- Take the online quizzes. Do the problems on the syllabus because they will appear in pop quizzes. And do well on a paper...you should PASS
CHEM 1103
Basically - you need to read the book. If you do, quizzes are a breeze. The midterm and final are a different story... Let's just say that if you have no life or no other classes, then HIS CLASS IS EASY... but if you can't devote hours and hours on chem, then forget it, drop his class NOW.

The guy doesnt teach that well and everything is from the book. His goal in the first half of the year is to get people to drop his class, but then the second half is a little easier. You got to go to class cause he gives pop quizes and has lab saftey briefings, but other than that there isnt much point of going to his class. Just read the book.
CHEM 1103
He is simply horrible. Gives quizzes every class and does not teach clearly at all.
Chem 1103
One of the worst teachers in the school. Prior to midterms, he tries to make people withdraw by making class extra hard. Softens up after midterms but class is still hard. He is also not helpful and very arrogant. You can read the chapter and go to every class and still fail. Avoid at all costs.

What a jerk..He is the worst teacher by far..him and his stupid dog grading system!
