Horrible professor.. all i can say is DO NOT TAKE. the students do so bad on his exams that he ends up curving it by 30+ points. & most still fail. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

He is literally the worst! He doesn't like compromise and loves to argue with students because he always has to be right. Directions are confusing, and he gives a couple lab quizzes. Very uptight kind of guy. I advise you NOT to take him.

he may seem like a cool guy but not so much as a professor. during lectures, he doesn't explain the material clearly rather he will use analogies or some type of theory to explain it. labs he has us just sit there and observe things. he literally acts as if were at Harvard. his exams are tough and if your looking for an easy A, don't take him!

If you want easy A,he is not a right person for you..although he curves grades and throw many EC ..but still you wouldn't get good grade..his tests are very tough..almost 100 multiple choice+essay+and short answer questions..and o yea..please write everything in your lab note book..he checks every single damn steps&take off pts if u missed somthing

Had him 2 semesters in a row. Bio 1 and 2, He can seem a little rude but he's not a bad guy. If you ask him for help he will be more then happy to help. There are a lot of exams all based on his lectures and packets that he hands out STUDY!!! If you study and work your butt off it will pay off.

His class is difficult if you don't study or put in the work. He hands out a note packet and throughout the semester goes over each and every point and thats what the tests are on - there are no surprise questions if you study properly. If you're looking to learn, this class is for you. If you want an easy A, look elsewhere.

one of the worst teachers i have ever had. does not explain the material well AT ALL and is absolutely useless in lab. he leaves the room constantly and barely helps at all. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

Loved the class, hated the exams. The exams were way too detailed and a complete waste of time. Grades on a curve! Horrible in the lab, never explained anything but expected you to spend the entire length of the lab just "observing".

I had highley for bio 101 summer class and he is amazing! He is very strict with cell phones and lab safety but he gave many extra credit opportunities and curved all of our tests.... So nice and cares about his students.. As long as you try and work hard you will get a good grade!

IF you take him prepare for the hardest class you've ever taken. the tests are impossible! the notes will help you so little. He barely helps in lab and the ancient projectors prefer not to say anything about that. If have another choice DON'T TAKE HIM

Highly anal and by the book! Not an easy Professor to get along with. Excessive rules cell phones, lateness etc... Dont take him unless you have a real interet in Bio or Chem. He can be very condescending at times. Tests on a curve!

He was very explaining and eager to help his students. All of the test questions comes from lectures as long as you take notes you'll be fine. Tests are detailed but doesnt matter bec he has a curve

Hard but fair. All i got to say. You get an essay question a week before the test which helps you figure out what youre going to write. take all the extra credit!

Took him over the summer. Very much an old school, no nonsense, nuts and bolts scientist. He has a bit of an ego, even if he's wrong. Doesn't try to make his class too hard. Gives a lot of trow away questions and extra credit. Decent students from good schools who read the packet and pay attention should get an A. Some weaker students struggled....

His tests are not difficult, if you read the text they are rather easy. His lectures are completely useless, except for the lecture packets. It is best to read the text covering the packets than to attend lecture, you will learn much more. He is a terrible lab instructor and tries to make you think that the act of boiling water is dangerous.

he is only one out of 2 teachers that teach bio 203. hes really hard he uses the old fashioned projector. you deff have to work hard in that class lab is so disorganized and not helpful constantly asking him questions. basically its him or Crescitelli. they're both bad just have to take ur pick :(
