Math 100
This prof rewrites the text book on the chalk board topping occationly with dry british humur. He is an alright prof if you sit close enough to read his writting.
Math 100
hard homeworks, hard test, can't really teach that good, but he writes a lot on chalk board bun dun think all the work he puts up on board really useful at all.
MATH 100
Couldn't understand a damn word he said through his thick British accent. Also, he does problems in the most convoluted way possible, taking multiple chalkboards to solve a problem that would take a few steps. I dropped his section; you should too.
MATH 100
Having Ben Green as a professor was quite an experience: of course he was a tough teacher but one of the best professors that I had in my first term. He challenged students, and contrary to some of the notes above, he did go over some of the text book.
MATH 100
Tough course, and Ben doesn't waste class time on explanations. Use his office hours if you want to make it through.
math 100
Useless when it comes to answering questions, blasts through the material with little to no explanation of the reason behind what we're doing, and then gave completely un-seen material for the midterms. Completely useless.
Math 100
Dr. Green is as stern as a whip and as English as a tweed tea cosy. He charges through the Math 100 syllabus like a herd of wildebeest through the Serengeti. He is a man's man, and a mathematician's mathematician.
Math 100
Green's approach to the course was, I feel, misunderstood by the majority of students. It is clear that he was trying to educate them beyond the confines of the rather dry textbook, but his efforts were grossly underappreciated.
MATH 100
I'm sure Green mentions everything we need to know in the lectures, but the lack of organization makes it very hard to follow. Dont expect any course outline mentioning the text chapters covered and good problems to try. Bad handwriting so sit close!
