eZ claSS cUz of Gre@T pr0F3ssor!!! Assignments are tough sumtimes, but thatz cuz comput0r science classes are generally difficult. His enthusiasm, attention to detail, and clarity make his lectures great and enjoyable. For any incoming students, attend your lectures and you'll end up with an A, unlike someone who got a B+. PSHHHHHHHH

Starts off great, but he becomes less caring and less clear. He seems to enjoy the subject but he doesn't seem to enjoy teaching it. Even if the entire class does not understand an assignment (the last one), he will not clarify. Also if you get an A- or a B- in the class he will still give you a C- if you fail the final, which a lot of people did.

The Hardest class I ever took. All the assignments are tough, very demanding, and took all my time for this class only. Make sure you are really good at C++ before taking this class.

HARD CLASS!! had to take this class for my major and let's js say i am considered technologically stupid and had NO programming exp before this class. it's like they expect you alrdy know the basics. the assignments take up SO MUCH time it's a pain. i would probably suggest to take cs10 at a cc if only this one is required for your major

Professor Miller was pretty nice and easy. I only felt challenged in this class at the last assignment. He wasn't strict with assignments but also didn't give so much direction sometimes. Curved final generously. I felt like his lessons were good but slow cuz he repeated things a lot sometimes. Our class had 7 As, 8 Bs, 8 Cs, and 4 Ds. Got an A+

This is probably one of the easiest classes you will take as a computer science major. I took CS 10 in 2011. I slacked a lot as a incoming freshman and I started to focus after averaging a low C around week 6. Ended up getting a B on the final and an A on the final. Just keep up with the work and you will do well. I regret not getting the A.

CS10 is hard. We had one programming assignment due each week, and each of them take hours, literally hours (only a small part of the class can finish without any help from TA). Other than that, Kris is pretty helpful, clear and nice. But I wouldn't take CS10 unless I like computer stuffs and good at it.

He took a difficult subject and made it clear and understandable! CS 10 is difficult for some but if you leave time for your assignments and read his notes that he posts online the class won't be difficult. He is just a great professor!! Study the quizzes and his notes and you will do great!

CS isn't easy, but this guy did a great job teaching the course. Tests are tricky. You will spend a lot of time on the assignments. Go to TA office hours! This class requires 20+ hours a week to master everything. Overall very rewarding, and after the class I was able to pick up BioPerl super fast.

VERY DIFFICULT CLASS. The professors cannot help you with the assignments (but will drop hints with large room for error) and everything goes by so fast that you master nothing. the labs are a pain, and they end up not helping you. then the assignments, they will eat up your life, they are beyond difficult and require many more hours than needed.

CS itself is a tough subject, especially if you don't have prior experience but if you're willing to put in the effort, you'll do fine. I got an A in the class and didn't have CS knowledge beforehand.Miller does the best he can and the TAs are very helpful as well.A lot of work but it's necessary to do well in a class like this.

Definitely a great professor. Nothing to worry about if you spend a decent amount of time every week on the assignments and reading. I previously had no experience with any C++ or programming and it was a pretty easy class. Going on his online forum to ask questions is really helpful.

He is a pretty good professor. He does the best he can. The material itself can get pretty difficult sometimes. You have to practice and read on your own. He is lenient and he tries to help as much as possible. No curve in class or final.

I never took a computer science class before, but I thought cs10 was tons of fun to watch your codes succeed! Hard work guarantees an A: you have to start hw early, and go to office hours a lot to get full hw points. There is a final exam minimum to pass the class, but it is very simple if you attend every class.

Mr. Miller is awesome! The very best teacher I have ever had in this school. I came into this class not knowing anything about c++ and his lectures were very helpful. C++ is not an easy class. I passed with a B but I worked real hard for this class. Be prepared to study!

Class is extremely difficult, it would not be considered a beginners intro course to C++. they should take it down a few notches. MAny people go in as a beginner not knowing anyhting about C++ and they expect you to know a basic amount. I went to every lecture and attended office hours and still failed. have to get at least 70% on final to pass

This class is way too difficult for beginners. Theye should dome it down a bit, i went in not knowing anything about C++, and they pretend like you know the basics already for it. The quizzes/tests/final are really tricky and you must score a 70% or higher in order to pass the class..seriously many people failed, they should make this class easier
