eZ claSS cUz of Gre@T pr0F3ssor!!! Assignments are tough sumtimes, but thatz cuz comput0r science classes are generally difficult. His enthusiasm, attention to detail, and clarity make his lectures great and enjoyable. For any incoming students, attend your lectures and you'll end up with an A, unlike someone who got a B+. PSHHHHHHHH

CS 013 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: C-

Starts off great, but he becomes less caring and less clear. He seems to enjoy the subject but he doesn't seem to enjoy teaching it. Even if the entire class does not understand an assignment (the last one), he will not clarify. Also if you get an A- or a B- in the class he will still give you a C- if you fail the final, which a lot of people did.

The Hardest class I ever took. All the assignments are tough, very demanding, and took all my time for this class only. Make sure you are really good at C++ before taking this class.

HARD CLASS!! had to take this class for my major and let's js say i am considered technologically stupid and had NO programming exp before this class. it's like they expect you alrdy know the basics. the assignments take up SO MUCH time it's a pain. i would probably suggest to take cs10 at a cc if only this one is required for your major

Professor Miller was pretty nice and easy. I only felt challenged in this class at the last assignment. He wasn't strict with assignments but also didn't give so much direction sometimes. Curved final generously. I felt like his lessons were good but slow cuz he repeated things a lot sometimes. Our class had 7 As, 8 Bs, 8 Cs, and 4 Ds. Got an A+

This is probably one of the easiest classes you will take as a computer science major. I took CS 10 in 2011. I slacked a lot as a incoming freshman and I started to focus after averaging a low C around week 6. Ended up getting a B on the final and an A on the final. Just keep up with the work and you will do well. I regret not getting the A.

CS10 is hard. We had one programming assignment due each week, and each of them take hours, literally hours (only a small part of the class can finish without any help from TA). Other than that, Kris is pretty helpful, clear and nice. But I wouldn't take CS10 unless I like computer stuffs and good at it.

He took a difficult subject and made it clear and understandable! CS 10 is difficult for some but if you leave time for your assignments and read his notes that he posts online the class won't be difficult. He is just a great professor!! Study the quizzes and his notes and you will do great!

CS isn't easy, but this guy did a great job teaching the course. Tests are tricky. You will spend a lot of time on the assignments. Go to TA office hours! This class requires 20+ hours a week to master everything. Overall very rewarding, and after the class I was able to pick up BioPerl super fast.
