Despite the bad reviews, she is my favorite professor so far. She teaches with the assumption that you've already read the chapter and then goes and walks you through proofs of the equations. Personally I think she makes perfect sense. She cares for her students. If you are having trouble she will go out of her way to help you out.

I took Multivariate Calc once before, but with an even worse professor than this one. Prof. Previato is extremely nice, but can't teach very well at all. She relies way too much on her notes, and can't answer questions without spending 10 minutes trying to find what the student is pointing out. Lecture started with ~100 people, ended with ~25.

Congratulations. You chose the worst math professor at BU. All jokes aside, I really gave her a chance. She's a good person, but she can't teach to save her life. 50 minutes with the TA (bless his soul) taught me more than a week of her lectures.

lecture is useless,and she doesn't use the Mymathlab you purchased,and that means you have to take every discussion class to take the qiuz to proof you did the homework,which is hard because I sometime overslept and missed the quiz.Beside she speaks extremely slow with strange accent,and she writes in very tiny words,invisible actually.

Lectures are useless. Don't go unless you want to sleep or take the notes (which usually are not worth your while either). Tests are based entirely off homework, so this class will basically force you to learn everything yourself, either by reading the textbook or using the MyMathLab tutorials if you have taken MA 123 or 124 prior to this class.

Agree of most of others. It's useless to go to the class n the only hope u have is the text book or you tube if u have enough time! She cannot teach for her life that's absolutely correct. Would just write the answer n won't even tell where it came from n being a German n old makes it even worse to comprehend any thing that she speaks.

:Lectures were absolutely useless, answers to homework problems were unclear and often omitted steps. Grading was unfair, with little partial credit. Terrible course, terrible professor.

Lectures are useless. Why waste this time when you could be on facebook. I really thought she couldn't be as bad as everyone said, but she is. Read the textbook and worship it, 'cause nothing that comes out of her mouth makes sense. Tests are easy since she "doesn't believe in thinking" during exams, and practice probs are identical to actual exam.

You can really tell she cares deeply about her students. She clearly loves her subject and will go the extra mile to help her students. The subject is hard so the class is hard but how difficult you find it depends on how much you try. Hint: Read the textbook religiously, go to all lectures and catch up on anything you don't understand fast.

This professor can't teach for her life. She is too involved in her own world to realize that she is not imparting any skills or knowledge to the students. Please do not ever ask her for any help. She is unreliable.

What she lacks in her ability to teach, she makes up in her ability to speak quietly into the microphone. She may be smart, but she's incapable of teaching.

This professor's heart is for the students. She is willing to bend over backwards for any student trying their best. She is humble in what she does and is very interested in students using what she teaches. Like any class work! This professor is a great advisory and is willing to work with your ideas;put in the work! She is a very valuable resource

completely agree with everyone else so far. Lectures are completely useless, seriously. She literally comes to class with a few pieces of green, stapled paper then proceeds to get confused by her own work / handwriting then write incomprehensible "work" and "examples" on the board. Only study the hardest and most complicated examples from prac exam

When I first signed up for the class, I assumed that she really couldn't be as bad as I'd heard. She is. To sum up her as a professor, near the middle of the semester someone asked a question about some work she did on the board. Instead of answering, she asked him "Are you new to the class?" She is unbelievably rude, and should not be taken at all

This is the type of class where I can imagine someone taking a test, thinking "I can't take it anymore!", ripping the paper up, and jumping out the window. Consider yourself warned.

During the review the last day of class, someone asked about the format of the final. She told him it was an inappropriate question and to leave if he was disappointed. That's how she answers any and all questions: by being rude and confusing.

Absolutely terrible professor. Gives little to no partial credit, with 97% of the time being none. Chooses end-of-the chapter problems for tests which are very tricky and hard to solve. Her notes (for solutions to practice exams) are horrendous..barely comprehensible. Avoid!
