Attendance is very important in her classes. She is a great professor and is always willing to meet outside of class if you have any questions, especially when we had to do our research papers. She's very friendly, and her classes aren't easy but if you do the work and ask questions, you'll be fine. | ||

I read through the comments and see that some individuals have passed poor judgement on Ms. MacKenna. She is an honest and very real person. If you can not handle her class try staying home for 1 weekend and do the work. Or better yet try going to class. | ||

Before entering her class for Winter Quarter, I was intimidated! After reading all the horrible comments about her on RateMyProfessor and the likelihood of getting an A, I thought I was screwed! She is a challenging teacher, and her class is by no means easy. She was always available and very willing to help you out and clarify assignments or just explain course materials to you. She seems to really care about her students and her courses. At times she can be a little intimidating.Discussion is really important. | ||
