I feel priviledged to have had Corey for bio. He's so smart and the most engaged teacher in the lecture material because he genuinely loves his research. Expect his lectures to require a lot of note-taking and listening. He's very clear.

BI105 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Very enthusiastic, the readings were mostly to give you examples needed for the exam (lots of writing), the rest were from lecture~ so listen. I don't like ecology or population biology, but he made it sound interesting

If you like to understand how something works from all angles, ask Corey to explain it to you. Something about the way he explains things makes them so easy to understand. Even if evolution and ecology is your least favorite part of Bio, this will be your favorite part of the intro class. He's awesome.

Funny and interesting. A little fast going through the powerpoint, but not too bad. Lots of reading, but it wasn't really used for tests or anything.

Corey is an engaging man who has a wonderful sense of humor. Though i didn't have much of an interest in evolutionary and ecological biology, he made it enjoyable and amusing enough for me to survive it. He would be a wonderful professor if you had an interest in his subject manner.

By far one of the best professors and advisors EVER. He helped inspire my interest in pursuing EEB. His classes are challenging, but worth the work because you will learn so much. Incredibly intelligent, great sense of humor, and a fabulous teacher.
