Dr. Noe is an absolute angel. The class was mostly discussion based. Lots of reading, but it's actually relevant so it isn't really a chore. Reader responses aren't much of an issue either and really help your grade. Two papers, three non-cumulative tests. Doesn't require you to remember dates. Definitely take him, he's an amazing teacher.

Dr. Noe is easily one of the best teachers I've had at Auburn. He clearly explains the material and encourages class discussion. The graded assignments aren't bad at all as long as you do the reading assignments! I highly recommend his course; I'm definitely not fond of history classes, but I actually enjoyed attending Noe's class!

You will have to work in Dr. Noe's class, but he is seriously the best professor I've ever had. He is friendly, connects well with the students, is extremely knowledgeable, and is very helpful. Definitely take this professor!

You will not get the full Auburn experience if you do not take one of Noe's classes.

Fantastic professor for Honors World History. Tests are very fair, homework usually consists of a light reading before each class, with the occasional paragraph that is generally easy and will help your grade; I usually did mine in the hour before class with time to spare. He's really funny and laid back, and class is more than repeating facts!

Great professor! He does a great job of explaining the material and makes class enjoyable. He does assign readings and journal entries but they are not difficult at all. He went out of his way to help the class and is very helpful. Everyone should take his class.

He's like a cool uncle you want to hang out with. I'll be taking lots of classes with him! As long as you go to class and do the readings, you'll be fine. He went out of his way to be helpful to everyone in the class!

Great teacher. He is a very intelligent man and a professor who actually cares about his students. He is very laid back and funny and makes class enjoyable to go to. All of the course work assigned was reasonable and not terribly difficult. I highly recommend taking him if at all possible. He was by far the best professor I have had

The best professor I've had. Had him twice so far and would take him again if I could. Just do the reading, study, and make sure he knows your name. Plus the class was awesome. Civil War Memory

He is a good teacher and makes class interesting but grades the class way harder than it should be. His tests and papers are bull crap. If you have a hard major dont take this class because it wont help your GPA. Ridiculous

I love this teacher! He makes it easy and interesting to learn anything. My only issue with him are his tests/quizzes. No matter how hard you study it will be hit or miss if you know enough about what he chooses to ask. A study guide would be helpful for all of the material we cover but he's just not that sort of professor. He is a Civil War titan!

Dr. Noe is extremely helpful. He takes honesty and integrity seriously; so as long as you don't plagiarize, attend class, and show respect then he'll do whatever it takes to help you do well. He's an interesting, down to earth guy who is amazingly smart and an expert in Civil War history. If you love history this is the guy to take.

Very nice guy but unlikely to have much sympathy for problems. Attendance a must! Ridiculously hard to write papers for as plagarism is his biggest issue so you must cite everything, even if you think you don't have to cite it, cite it anyway. He's hard but he's a freaking genius at what he does and you will learn alot of interesting things.

This class is interesting but hard. He gives a lot of quizzes and his tests have essays on them. Do the reading and study your tail off and you should do fine. I would take him as he is very knowledgeable but if you need help he will give it to you but he is not one of the friendliest people in the world. You will learn a lot. Take him but study.

Dr. Noe is the best teacher I have had at Auburn. He grades tests hard, but he lets you know possible test questions. Most students really enjoy going to his class.

Good teacher. Don't plagarize or cheat or he'll try to get you kicked out of Auburn. Have to go to class, and read the material cause there are quizzes. Interesting class though.

He is very organized which I loved. Takes roll every day. Sometimes short with you. Always changes his tests and quizzes for make-ups. Easy to follow and tests are straight forward and you always know what to study for. Pretty easy overall. Nice guy!
