I won't take him again. he changes his mind about stuff A LOT, has a bad attitude about questions asked, and is just plain weird. tests are okay so long as you study for them. oh and he grades on "improvement." so, if grades decline, he'll give a lower grade; if grades improve, he'll give a higher grade. take a different instructor if possible.

Dr. Bergstrom gave me the creeps. The way he looked at me made me very uncomfortable at times. He seems to think he's hot, but he's just creepy.

As a visual learner, I disliked his teaching style very much. He hardly ever writes verbs, etc. on the board, choosing instead to rattle off a bunch of stuff beginners cannot understand. Yes, he gives test reviews, but he isn't a fair grader. He never records numerical grades, only letter grades. He "averages" your letter grades as he sees fit.

Great professor. He was extremely easy. You must study vocabulary daily to recieve a good grade. Fair grader. He grades based on progress. You can earn 3 Fs and at the end earn B if you do well at the end. Great professor. Do not listen to what people say. Try him, you may like him. People are sometimes lazy. Grades aren't based on gender.

Class was interesting. Must study. Gives study guides for every test. Will help you outside of class. It is better if you come to class. Used books everyday. Must complete work book assignments every day. Good class just needed to study a little more.

You can miss only 10 classes. If you have ever had Spanish before this will be easy. Must bring your book to class. You will need a workbook and answer key. Easy A. He is aggravating sometimes though. Class is boring!!! But if you need an A take him.

He's a great teacher. If you come to class and pay attention, he's cool. He gives study guides to all the tests and there are no quizzes. He believes that a student earns a grade and I like his grading policy. There are bad comments because they slacked off in the end and didn't deserve a grade for doing work in the beginning and sh** in the end.

He doesnt grade fairly at all...thinks he is never wrong and just chooses grades for people rather than actually averaging them together...super weird...

Dr. Bergstrom is a pretty good teacher. He gives you a review before every test, so that is all you have to study. It does require studying though to make a good grade. I think he has a great personality and he likes to get off subject sometimes! Overall, I would take him again!

I had him for spanish 101. He is a very helpful professor. He can get off topic at times but it never hurts. He grades very fair. BELIEVE that. I love Mr. Bergstrom! I recommend him to anyone.

This guy wasn't too bad in summer school. I thought that he was a lot easier. He was very helpful but I still didn't like the way that he gave test. If there are other people teaching, take them, but he's not that bad if you don't mind hearing "yeah boy" constantly....

This guy is a butthole! He thinks that he's a big stud & god's gift to women. I hated this class, was bored & hated how he gave test! He wasn't a good teacher & I disliked him. If you can, take James he's boring but a lot more easier!

This class is hard as far as tests, however, it seems he goes out of his way to try to find ways to give you points-which is always cool.

Fairly good teacher. He's really interested in his students' lives and goes EXACTLY by the book which makes for an easy A or B. If you're looking to really improve your Spanish speaking/writing ability pick a harder teacher like Whelan--we spoke Spanish only when we were working out of the book.

Dr. Bergstrom is the nicest teacher in the world! He tries so hard to keep everyone interested and he looks out for all his students. He wants everyone to do well, and he does what he can for you. He also has a great sense of humor!
