As far as I know, everyone enjoys this class and thinks Alec is a great prof. I agree but as someone who is very literate in technology I didn't find this class interesting. If you know very little about technology/social media - then this class will be good for you. I just got bored of it after awhile.

Alec is one of the BEST teachers I have ever had! He is very helpful and kind. I had very little experience or interest with technology before the class, but am actually quite interested in it now. Alec is funny, down-to-earth and just plain awesome. If you have the chance to take a class with him, DO IT!!! You won't regret it.

This was an amazing course and I definitely recommend anyone who is in the faculty of education to take this course. Alec knows what he is talking about and is always willing to share his knowledge and learn some too! Great prof, great class!

Alec was the best prof I ever had. He's so down to earth, and we're still in contact today. He's so helpful! His class was the most useful of my 4-year degree. Everyone should take ECMP with Alec!

Couros kept the class really interesting. The web 2.0 stuff we took, blogging, wikis, podcasts, etc., were really good to learn. I recommend this instructor to everyone. He's really funny and kept class really interesting.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, Dr. Couros is one of the most helpful profs on campus; he really cares. He is also extremely hot, so it is easy to pay attention to him. Everything he teaches is practical and will be used either in your internship or when you get out teaching your own class. If I could I would take any and every class with him

He is a pretty nice guy and he really knows his stuff. I really enjoyed his classes, and he made us laugh a lot. I learned a lot about computers, but most of the stuff I forgot already.

Alec is a really great teacher. He cares about his students, and is always willing to help if you don't understand. He is funny, and makes class interesting. It would be really boring to take this class from someone else. I loved his class!

alec is a great professor. i was told to ecmp from him from a friend who had taken his class, and i wasn't disappointed. he was really funny, and i learned more than i ever expected. lots of the stuff i use still. definitely take ecmp from alec if you can.

Alec is really smart and nice and helpful. He wants his students to suceed. Expect to learn a lot and laugh a lot in his class. One of the best profs at the U of R definitely. Just don't be a slacker. Slackers suck.

Alec was a great prof. and so funny! He definately made class interesting and taught us tons of practical computer skills we can use in the classroom. He is a hard marker though and really knows his stuff. He is also always willing to help though and go above and beyond to make sure everyone understands. I would take another class from him.

Alec is a great teacher. He's very intelligent, passionate about what he teaches and technology, but not nerdy about it. He's also eye-candy so that is even more reason to take his class.

i have to agree with the last rating. alec was always super helpful in and out of class, and even two years after i've taken the course, he still helps me with technology in my own classroom. he's probably the only prof i still talk to, and the one that always really cared about quality education.
