"Lectures are long" "Get ready to read" "Papers? More like novels"

Only have to go to classes when there is quizzes and then leave right after. His voice is annoying, sucks at lecturing, learn nothing in lectures. You basically don't have to go to any of them to learn just about the same thing as what the people who go to class do. My advice don't take his class.

HIS 322 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

This man cannot lecture at all. His lectures are just him babbling forever about things have nothing to do with anything and the topic is already really boring. He also makes you take the trips to the museum and you have to do a bunch of outside projects. Surprisingly, he's a really easy grader. Just try to stay awake, I dare you.

HIS 322 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

I had Dr. Lessoff last spring for HIS 322. He is a very well informed on his topic areas and tries to keep class interesting even if some of the material is dry. A very approachable guy and fair grader. Attendance wasn't mandatory but you need to attend to get the information needed to get a good grade.

Nice guy and extremely helpful but TERRIBLY BORING CLASS. You get through one powerpoint slide in 50 minutes and he doesn't even talk about it. He goes on tangents and rambles on about stuff that doesn't even matter. I stopped taking notes 2 weeks into the semester.

Dr. Lessoff is a great professor. He is extremely helpful and is genuinely interested in his students. His lectures do have a tendency to get a little scatterbrained, but he makes up for it with the fact that he know so much about what he teaches. If you ever need help on a project he is more than willing to put in the time to help.

The class was pretty interesting. Mr. Lessoff has a lot of good things to say, but tends to ramble. As far as grading is concerned, don't pay much attention to his power points. The study guides he gives are basically the test itself- very similar to each other. Take advantage of the extra credit opportunities on his website.

This was a very boring class. He rambles on with his lectures. I had two major tests and two papers, with a quiz almost every Friday over his stupid book that he wrote.

Dr. Lessoff is an awesome professor, even though his lectures are very dry and long. You can't help but like the guy and the class was an interesting enough topic. He liked to take us on field trips, which was good for a change of scenery. I would recommend him. He is a fair grader.

Had him last semester & thought he was very easy. Gives study guides for tests and pretty much gives you the answers for each thing on the SG if you ask him. Gives loads of EC and most of the material for quizzes and tests are from the book NOT lecture. Weekly quizzes are simple and EC makes up for all of them if you do it!

He know the course information but he has a hard time putting it in to and orginized lecture, he often went on tangents during class and then tried to cram the 50 min lecture in to the last 15 min of class. because of this i highly recomend that you make sure you READ THE BOOK.

Very nice guy. Quite helpful and friendly. Class isn't too hard, but his notes prove to be sort of pointless. Is very willing to help students grasp the material better. He's obviously very smart, but can have trouble simplifying it. I recommend him.

great guy! He can be boring, but it is still fun. Knows his stuff and will do his best to make sure you learn the material. Will even take time OUT OF CLASS to meet with entire class to go over test material if needed. Great guy! Get HIM
