This class was easily one of the best I have ever taken at OSU. Irfan is also probably one of the best teachers here as well; be warned, though, the class is a LOT of work and you must keep up with the reading. If you do, though, you will have an amazing time. | ||

By far the most difficult and rewarding class I have ever taken. If you are up to date on your reading and willing to participate, lecture is actually FUN, something I have never said about a college course. I learned more in this class than every other college course I have taken combined. | ||

If you want to be significantly challenged and acquire a reasonably thorough education on Indian politics - this is your class. Expectations are very high. Irfan has that sort of sense of humor which some find unappealing. But I assure if you work hard and deliver, you will find him to be very gracious and helpful. | ||

The class is intellectually stimulating but very challenging. Lazy students who don't appreciate academia will probably fail. My only gripe is that there were many expensive required readings. However, I used the OSU library system to get the books and thus didn't spend a dime. I wish he had just put the readings online though. | ||

Best POLI SCI class I ever took at OSU. Just sorry I waited to take his class during my last quarter (AU06) because I would have taken more of his courses. High workload, but high satisfaction if you can hack it. | ||
