This professor does not understand it is a core class and I only took it because it fit with my schedule. Makes you lead a whole class and do a huge project. Thinks that there is only one right answer for a response to a movie. Hard grader. Would never have taken his class if I had met him first!! | ||

He's very interesting and obviously likes his subject a lot. He gives plenty of options for extra credit, and overall is not a really hard grader. He does assign a lot of readings, which you should complete so you can participate fully in class. overall, I most certainly recommend van Schepen. | ||

This is the worst class you will ever take, awful explaining stupid power points quizzes suck need to do all readings and rude annoying and extremely extremely boring do not get him | ||

Extremely rude, inconsiderate, and unfair. I only had him for senior sem., but I recommend avoiding him if possible | ||

The Collecting Ourselves class he personally teaches is about collectors and the things they collect. If you are not a art / history major, there is nothing to be gained from taking this class. Also, he grades easy, giving you, basically, automatically an A unless you get on his bad side (it isn't hard) then he will not give you anything above a B- | ||
