He doesn't like to answer questions. He says if you need help thats why there is a math lab.

HE doesn't answer any questions when asked. When he rarely takes the time to explain something he talks down to you. 70% of your grade is your test score, and his tests are hard. I have never had a worse teacher, he makes you feel like crap even when you're doing well.

He would skip crucial steps that he thought you should know. It would have really helped to explain the whole process.The worst math teacher I've ever had. I found him very belittling. He can't relate to helping students who don't get the concept immediately. He talks down to students.I felt uncomfortable asking questions in his class.

I think this professor could do a better job of giving examples that pertain to the math that is being taught in class. I also think he needs to stop putting grades up on the board for all to see.

This teacher seemed great until he told the class that if you don't understand it you need to get out NOW! What are you not here to teach me this? And then he told us he was going to retire and we could not make our emergencies his if we were to miss the final because he was catching a fligt the followig monday. Ha! He is still there lier.

His lessons were clear and I like his teaching style. I heard several people request as to whether he was teaching 98. Sadly enough, no. I can understand that he doesn't like texting and other disruptions in his class. Do the work and you'll get the grade.

I had to drop this class half way through cause I couldn't grasp what he was trying to teach. I felt uncomfortable asking questions in his class and was going nowhere. I took the class again with C. Mccavoy and got a 4.0! So it wasn't me that wasn't learning, it was the teacher not teaching... Sorry but true!

Hard grader-homework marked down for the smallest things. Boring jokes, no patience for people who didn't already know the material. Smart teacher but 0 personal social skills as far as relating to students. Unless you are a whiz at math don't take him! I got an A in previous math course and a D+ in Abbotts class. No leniency at all!

Was a horrible teacher. Told a daily dumb joke at the beginning of class and did not care at all if you passed or not. Horrible teacher.

I urge you to take another professor if you can. Couldn't find time to answer questions but found time to complain about his salary, Hep. C & moving offices, inappropriate! I enlisted the help of a previous math professor for help. When the whole class would do poorly on an exam he used degrading comments.

Horrible teacher. Everything that could be wrong with him is. He's a picky grader, boring teacher, tries to be funny and isn't, boring examples, and just a bad person to learn from overall. He marks you down on tests for having your answer in certain forms when none is specified. i.e.

I thought he was really nice. Yeah he can be an ass but who isn't at one point or another?! He was really helpful in my class and made understanding really easy. At times the class was boring but overall he explains things in class well so you do well on tests! he's funny too..he tells random jokes on Fridays and cracks himself up! lol

He didn't explain problems very well. He would skip steps that some people didn't really know how he got to a certain point, then proceeded on with the answer. It would have really helped to explain the whole process.

THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. NOT HELPFUL IN HELPING YOU TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS YOUR LEARNING. NOT WILLING TO SPEND CLASS TIME REVIEWING THE NIGHT BEFORES PROBLEMS. I WILL NEVER TAKE HIM AGAIN!
