Professor Paige is extremely approachable and is willing to go out of his way to help. He will take his time and sit down with you to help you comprehend the material which itself isn't relatively hard compared to other 200 class. Assignments tough but super easy marker on written response. Awesome professor. Genuinely cares

Awesome professor. Although he always has early morning classes which are always the death of me, he is extremely approachable and really cares about your well being in his class. Nothing on his exam is a shock/surprise, and lecture material usually deals with instruments mostly.

Great Prof! Thoroughly enjoyed his class and teaching style. Lectures helped out a great deal with knowing content. I got a better mark in Chem 112 than Chem 30. His slides and teaching method makes the midterm and final a breeze! Awesome teacher, definitely recommended!

Had Paige for first year chem. Easiness is irrelevant as all chem students get the same test. Paige seems to get by with the bare minimum to teach the course. Do not trust the math work in his notes as it is flawed. I would take it from someone else if I had the foresight, but its not the end of the world.

Overall awesome prof. I hated the class and the labs were brutal. I think the chemistry department needs to re-look at their first-year chem program because I never want to take chem again. Overall this prof knows his stuff and is willing to help. Make sure that you keep up though

The class is a review of high school but Prof. Paige teaches it thoroughly in case you missed something. You will likely not encounter new material until the near end of the course. Good prof, easy to understand. Assignments online.

A fairly good prof overall. He can sometimes over complicate things or make assumptions we know exactly what he's talking about haha. Nevertheless, I would recommend him to other students particularly since he's very approachable.

I really enjoyed this class. I'm not a huge fan of Chem, but I thought that prof Paige made the best out of the subject. He's a super nice person, and had some pretty bad chemistry jokes to share. The midterm was pretty easy, but the final was marked kind of tough.

This chem class has got to be one of the easiest chem classes ever. Paige is a super easy marker, likes to give partial marks even if you have no idea what you are doing. Do well in the lab and you are guaranteed a good mark, oh and you should probably go to class once in awhile, but since there are online notes it really doesnt matter.

The class is what you make of it. Dr. Paige is a great prof who is very knowledgable and his overheads are very useful but you have to be in class to fill in the blanks.

Too smart of his own good, making him a not-so-great prof. The material isn't too hard but he doesn't teach it with clarity at all. Watch out for his stupidly tricky exams. Why would he ask stuff barely covered?

When you go to see him, if he's not completely misleading you, he's just not helping at all. If you can avoid him, do so!
