Chee is great! I've learnt A LOT from him for a semester long course. Class requires lots of works, but all works are practical and helpful for your knowledge. Tests are hard and really examines your understanding about what you have learnt. Overall comment:great class, friendly professor & hard work required.

Awesome overall experience. Great professor and highly knowledgable. Took summer class, which was not particularly hard, but definitely fair. Would recommend taking this class with Chee.

He is the worst prof that I met in BU. I recommend stay out of him. His intention is bad for students and he is mean about grading unless you are chinese

Tough class to fairly grade. Lots of material to cover and the concepts have serious substance. Chee wants you to focus on concepts and understand the why/how of it all, but it's difficult to understand the big picture without some background in econ/finance. Tests are very thorough but if you put in the work, not bad. Not a good summer course

He is extremely organized. This is a tough class. Don't take in summer unless you are good with finance/numbers. Show up, pay attention & do homework & you will do great. He was most helpful & quite patient. He is genuinely interested in his students. Doesn't want his class to waste money on new text book. Uses prior edition.

He is really hard. He doesn't know how to ask multiple choice questions. There are lots of uncessarry tricky in his questions. Otherwise he is a good instructor.

Browses over pptr slides every lecture. talks about the markets/industry but doesnt actually teach anything or go over examples. very unorganised.
FI302
Excellent teacher, but he is demanding. The most organized professor that I have had.

Gives a TON of work - grades fairly, but expects you to know WAY too much stuff. Always goes right to the end of class, if not beyond.

Great teacher; uses humor to make otherwise dry subjects engaging. Delivers entertaining lectures with good tie-ins to current events.
