If you're looking for an easy grade, stay. The class is boring and he does single people out. Sometimes I hated him, other times I admired him. He's a great man, but a decent professor.

The previous rating is soooo fake! He has a huge ego! He loves to "put you on the spot", but I felt he really didn't care about your opinion because he already knows everything. Arrogant is exactly how I would describe this professor, not his students.

I was warming up to Ogbaa after a few weeks, but today proved me wrong, as a student had an emergency today in class in which he had to rush to the hospital, he was in tears and Ogbaa told us after that he didn't care what his excuse was, that he was not going to excuse him for leaving class. How arrogant of him, he should be ashamed.

Could not understand him at all, his spoken English was so poor. His syllabus was also ripe with spelling and grammatical mistakes, and his lectures were unexciting and dull. I have never fallen asleep in a single college class and I graduated in 2007 with 3 forms of honors -- but none of it was thanks to this man.

Ogbaa is a sweet down to earth Man! He really wants everyone to do well! Some students complain and call him rude but he's very refreshing and knows ENGLISH! Laziness will get you no where in this class so just do your work....thats college! I reall really really liked him

Prof Ogbaa is a great teacher and person. I learned so much in his class. The only people in my class who complained were the guys who regularly came in 20 mins late or left class to answer their vibrating cell. He is pretty funny and really inspiring. He gives me high fives in the hall ways! And is free to talk if you really want help.

No where near as bad as everyone says. He's actually funny at times. If you're too weak to handle in-class jokes, then you don't belong in college. Dr. Ogbaa was friendly and had interesting lectures. He does have an accent, but he's quite understandable. Just do the work.

terrible teacher! he kept going off on tangents almost totally unrelated to english. he doesn't seem to care about teaching english, he only seems to want to make the students share his opinions (clinton was a good president, all literature is educational in some way, true love requires sacrifice, random stuff like that) Don't take this class!!

I don't understand why people make this prof. seem so mean. He might like he is at first but he is really not. Just make sure you read and do the papers , make sure you participate in class he likes that. He really helps during office hours. He is also a very easy grader. Take him

The class was easy if you put forth effort. He does make rude statements and the class is kind of awkward, but it isnt as bad as people make it to be.

Easy class-only 4 2-3pg papers(including the final) however his class is pointless,I learned NOTHING from it.He is very rude& should keep his opinions to himself instead of forcing them down his student's thoats.He tells you to make comments& ask ?s but all he does is try to prove u wrong. The time u spend w/him will be miserable but its an easy A
