She is the most organized teacher I've ever had. Attend her lectures and take the notes. I only opened me book to get the homework problems. Her partial credit is horrible, that's true, but passing grade C is only 60% and she gives 5% bonus points for discussion attendance and taking a quiz. I will definitely take her again.

I will never take a class with her again. I've taken Chan, so difficulty isn't the problem. Bad test grader.

Avoid at all cost. She seem easy and great professor at first. I thought everything was easy, until the 1st test. The class did the best on the 3rd test; the average for that test was 58%. You'll lose a lot of points on the test for notations.

Great professor. Explains everything in detail, but also summarizes how the problems will be solved. Note packets are useful, very organized.

Makes a lot of mistakes in basic circuit theory during lectures. I had to go back to get and prove (using the book) things on my test were actually right for both test. Unfair grading. Stubborn about her constant mistakes. Avoid at her all costs, at least for anything related to Circuit Theory.

This class is hard, if you get behind or don't pay attn. Other than that, if u study regularly, it will become easy. If you visit office hours she will guide you, but not give you answers. If you want to learn, take her, if you want easy A but be shaky on the concepts take Wu.

One of the best professors at UCF, in my opinion. Derives everything and explains everything clearly and succinctly in class. Grading is harsh, however, so make sure you know what you're doing before the test. Do all the homework and understand all of them thoroughly, including the concepts taught in class.

This is with out a doubt the worst professor i have ever had! All of the statements on rate my professor are true about her terrible partial credit, time constraints for tests, and even the fact she doesn't care about students. 350 characters can not even start to describe the amount of things she does wrong. Avoid at all costs for all classes.

1000% better than Azza Fahim. Electrical Networks itself is really hard. She has her TA's do the grading, so I blame them for not giving partial credit. There are multiple ways to do a problem and if you didn't do it her way, no partial credit. UCF doesn't have many options for Profs. in this class. PREPARE THYSELF! I would take her again though.

this is the worst professor I ever had my my life. She is irresponsible for the student. All the solution is lacking of information. Moreover the test is all cover these information. To sum up If you want a better grade Avoid this person

Mastering engineering, add $60 to the cost of class. Thanks UCF! The 1st test was very hard and most failed, then most failed the second test, stressed out all year, took up all my time, & neglected other classes. I have a low C going into the final. She says no curve, but I can't see how she wouldn't. Study!!! Learned a lot, but at a cost :(

She gives partial partial credit, sometimes. Very tough. Tests were tough, problems were rarely similar to the homework. If you take this class it will eat up your time, and probably your soul too.

The concepts of this class aren't hard, but she doesn't know what partial credit is. You can use all of the correct methodology, but if you make a calculation error, you'll miss most points. The test average is like 40 percent. Smart, driven students are losing scholarships with this lady. Take anyone other than her.

The material itself isn't too bad, but she seems confused with the idea of partial credit. All of the methods can be correct, but if one calculation error is made, then most of the points are lost. The class average for the tests are around 40%. She only curves at the very end so nobody knows if they are passing or failing.

Great professor, do not take EMF with anyone else. Exams are fairly easy if you know what you are doing. People who struggle are the ones who do not remember basic multivariable calculus.

Parveen is a good professor. Do the homework and maybe a few extra problems from the back of the book and you'll do very well on the tests. She curves pretty good too so unless you don't study at all, there shouldn't be any reason to get anything lower an a B.

I guess she is very difficult in senior level classes because in electrical networks I found it was an easy A. Tests questions were all easier then hardest hw questions. DO THE HW!! Class is kinda optional... I showed up 80% of the time got 93%,100%,78%,and 100 on final. HARSH GRADER!!! But questions were easy so not too bad.

She has a very hard class, but as long as you pay attention in class and do the hws, and stay on top of the material, it shouldn't be hard to get a B. If you wait last minute to study for test, then you will definitely not pass.

She is honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had. The material is fairly difficult but she provides examples before the test. Her note packets are amazing and have more examples inside

I had Professor Wahid for EMF in Spring of 2011. I really liked her style of teaching. I always went to class, and paid attention. Never really asked any questions during class. Homework can be time consuming, but it's worth doing. Overall I think she's a good professor. I Wouldn't mind taking more classes with her in the future.
