I'm in my 3rd semester with professor Winters. He was the first class I ever had in college and he rode in on a skateboard. He is by far the greatest professor I've had so far. He might be a little crazy, but he actually makes you want to attend class and more importantly learn.

he is a nice guy and will make you laugh, but he doesn't use a microphone and when he asks questions to the class if you aren't sitting close to the person asking or answering the question, you won't be able to hear it. you almost have to get every word he says to understand what he wants from you because he will quiz you on things he says.

OMG this has honesty been the best professor i've had all year! He's insane but intelligent. He brought props to class every once in awhile and once in a while i feared for my life. Check out his profile pic on facebook of him skydiving (did i mention he's like 80?!)

DR Winter is awesome! the class is so much fun, it is probably one of the most enjoyable classes on campus. i will warn you it is a higher thinking level than most classes but if you have something between your ears and read I repeat read the books you can pull of an a no sweat

seriously crazy, but a lot of fun nonetheless. i'd enjoy the class more if i could better understand everything he was saying, but recitation was always good at helping clear those things up. i'd recommend the course.

I definitely learned more in the recitation part of the class than in lecture, just because he's so crazy it was hard to pay attention to WHAT he was saying rather than HOW he was saying it. He is definitely a fun teacher, though (I never feel asleep once

Fun professor, always had you guessing what he was going to do or say. Made the class interesting. He was slightly disorganized but not in any way that hurt your grade. Tests were easy (as long as you actually read the book and sat through lecture) The Greek Mythology class I took was worth taking.

After 30 years the only teacher whose name I still remember. His illustrations were great.
