ARHI 150 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

He's not very engaging in his lectures, and doesn't really leave time for very insightful discussions. He's pretty nice and easy going, but isn't good about responding to emails and is unclear in his test and essay prompts. There's a lot of reading, and the texts tend to discuss the same things, so it gets repetitive.

ARTHI177 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Gives a lot of info during his lectures, sometimes hard to filter out what's important to know. Midterm was all dates/ordering of artists (I got a D) but I've received A's on all 3 papers. STUDY DATES! Very knowledgable about his subjects, pretty clear in class. Assignments are pretty straightforward, but he's not very responsive by email.

Great, knowledgeable professor for Art History--I learnt so much from his lectures! As for Core III, it was a little on the easy side, but still very interesting and informative.

Coats is adorable and sweet and Genji was a piece of cake. Fun, easy class... I wasn't at all interested in the subject before taking this but Coats kept it interesting.

Monuments of Asia was a good intro level class. Interesting material and lectures, and he was pretty clear about what to expect for tests and what he wanted in papers. Tests/assignments were reasonable.

He is not clear on what he wants in papers. hi is, however, interesting, intelligent, and very passionate about his material. I often found my papers were naturally better when I was passionate about a certain topic and it came through.
