He's a great Professor. Some of his jokes are drawn out a bit and he does reference sports, but he genuinely cares about students learning and understanding the fundamentals. Take him if you have the chance!

He is a nice guy but with all his health issues class is cancelled at the last minute often. Projects are long and alot of work. He makes horrible jokes and if you are not a die hard sportsfan you will not like his class. prof is very annoying and has bad examples and bad jokes and i mean literally half of class is a sports rant

He is a great teacher who cares about his students and if you care about your grade he will help you get the grade you want. He is funny and makes class entertaining. He grades fair and for an accounting class its great!

Murph is an extremely nice guy, will help you if you need it. if you take this class you will probably think you're doing poor but end up with a much better grade then you thought duer to his goofy grading system. hard class, good teacher.

Murphy was the reason that I got through Acctounting 1 & 2. Absolutely loved him as a teacher and had lots of lessons to make classes easier to absorb. Knows the material is dry, but makes it fun in a way. Would recommend him to everyone & wish he taught more accounting classes.

Great Professor, Extremely helpful, Made the class fun. Projects require lots of work. Funny, and great all round person. Be Prepared for stories of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Treats students as adults.

Murphy is a great guy - he is funny and his class is usually pretty entertaining. -BUT he is a horrible instructor! I am basically teaching myself everything! He spends more time trying to make his powerpoints and tests funny than actually teaching us what is on them! Avoid if possible!

Murph really wants to help us but on the last exam, over 50% of his students (in all of his sections) failed. He really knows what he is talking about, but sometimes has a hard time teaching us. At least he is better than Cole though...

I took online intro to Business Accounting. Was pretty easy to follow the course outline. Murph was very understanding and helpful. I would recommend this online class if you don't really like accounting but need the class

Murph knows his accounting. Will help you if you need it. The Circuit City/Best Buy presentations are not clear, but you can get through it easily. RUUDDDYY!

Accounting is a hard class in itself, he tries to make it interesting. More or less the topic is the confusing part but his classes aren't torture. He tries to help the best he can when asked. helpful study seminars. Fiday quizzes should be expected.

Really cares, out of his way to help, makes an incredibly boring subject tolerable, all around wonderful guy to be with, if you have the option, Murph is an abolute must.

Awesome teacher! He is a great guy. Has weekly optional study nights. Quizzes once a week, 3 tests & comprehensive final. If you get a higher grade on the final than in the class your grade can be raised up to a letter grade. You never use the book other than to do class preps which are mandatory but are easy & helpul. TAKE MURPH for ACCOUNTING!

Murphy is the best teacher and all around person of any of the professor I have ever had. He truley cares about his students.

Easy going, quizzes every friday and test are easy due to lab preperation. Watch out though murphy is a 6-8" 300 pound diesel.

Fun personality, will go way out of his way to help students. He undersatands that the topic is not one that is easy or interesting for most of his students and doesn't expect anything unrealistic.
