GEND201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

A very nice lady but not a great professor. She had a vice-like grip on discussions, which would have been ok if she got to the point, but mostly it was just irrelevant and anecdotal. It set an agonizingly slow pace for the class. Also we discussed maybe 30% of all the readings. Mostly a frustrating course.

I loved her class and thought she was an excellent professor. She let us give speeches on whatever subject interested us, so long as we followed the correct format. This freedom made the class especially engaging, and allowed us to learn so much about our

She's more excited when teaching rhetoric of women; those lectures are pretty interesting if you like the suffrage movement. And very helpful when you need her. Sadly, she's been out for part of this term with breast cancer. I hope she can come back to work next semester.

I'm seconding the "grandma"-like nature of Jean. She's a great woman - she rocks as an advisor, but she's not the most animated lecturer. The class she taught was amazing, so it was hard to go wrong, but i could see a lot of places to improve on

Jean is a very nice lady- totally helpful and grandmother-like. But she's not a very engaging professor. She's a fairly boring lecturer. She's fine, but nothing to write home to Mom about. If someone else is teaching I would consider them instead.
