10/29/08 ELEC2120 5 1 2 2 emoticon_unhappy flag   I can't stand how prideful he is. He's an ok teacher but arrogant arrogant arrogant.. talks about NASA all the time like anyone really cares. Confusing and makes mistakes.
4/29/08 ELEC2120 2 5 5 3 emoticon smiley flag   I had Dr. Hodel for Linear Signals and Systems. He was a tough teacher, but if you gave him your best effort then you'd find him more than fair. He gives plenty of material to study with and does some review of math and circuits. I learned so much in his class. If I had the opportunity to take another class with him, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Start very very early on the project, even if it's not finalized;otherwise you will be up the 48 hours before it is due. Tests aren't really terrible as long as you study for quizzes and do the hw. Use the wiki, he answers very fast. Overall, good class; enjoyable. Neat subject
5/22/06 ELEC 2120 2 3 4 4 emoticon smiley flag envelope This class is going to be hard no matter who you get. He tries hard to get the key points across, and mostly does a good job but: if you don't rember most of calc I, II, III and diff eq, you will be lost most of the time. Don't buy the book, it is useless. His lecture notes and answers keys are b/t ok & good, although he will skip steps sometimes.
