THE BEST TEACHER ON CAMPUS. Very friendly, and understanding. He is calm, and cool. You will learn a lot from him, just take a class with him.

He is very soft spoken and relaxed. He talks with so much enthusiasm and passion for literature. Grading wise, he can be a bit difficult at times, but when he gives you as essay (normally 3/semester) he gives you a wide variety of topic to write about. Overall very good teacher, a little tough, but very very worth it!!!

Took him for Pagan Reason to Christian Revelation. If you don't think hes THE MAN than you're a bad person. probably the nicest man alive, genius and makes an effort to get to know you. you learn so much in his class and aslong as you go to class and do the reading you will do fine in his class. I highly recommend him, can't wait to take him again.

Professor Kalogeris is an amazing man. He's smart, he's exceedingly passionate about what he teaches, and he is, quite possibly, the nicest man I have ever met. He takes time to talk with students individually, in or out of class, and always encourages ideas even if he doesn't agree. Don't pass up an opportunity to take one of his classes!

He is very nice and class is a discussion with each student reading an excerpt of a book out loud. However, I was expecting a History class on Imperial Rome but it was more of a literature and philosophy class. Still a great choice, very insightful.

A hell of a class and worth taking if you are interested in it. In general the material covered is far from easy and the course is more philosophy than history; however, he is a very easy grader. He is very interested in what he teaches and has a strong knoweldge of it as well. Both of which easily rub off on his students.

took him for an archer fellow class...we didn't do much. just read out loud a lot but his passion for the material is infectious. Very very very nice guy.

I heard that he was an easy grader and I found this to be untrue. There were 3 essays and nightly reading. The final was really tough! Granted, he is a nice guy, he just grades inconsistantly.

Maybe it depends what kind of class you're taking with him, but for this specific one, I thought he was very hard. Tough material, can't explain it well and not a very fair grader.
