Prof Tootelian is a really nice guy. You have to show up to class(3 absences and you get -1 letter grade). Hw/Labs are easy to get full credit on. Tests require you to study a LOT and understand the material, but they are open book. He usually talks about his random things during class, which i didnt mind. I would take the course again.

Absolute worst teacher at Oakton. Teaches absolutely nothing. Drones on and on about irrelevant garbage, maybe signs the old man is going cenile. Tests are multiple choice & open book, but still the average is a C. The book is terrible also. If you need to take PHY132 later, dont take this class b/c you will learn absolutely nothing from Tootelian

My friends are in higher leveled physics and they couldnt even do the problems this guy assigns. I have a 4.0 at occ, been there for 2 years. I was told if you are good in math you should be fine in physics, but I am very strong in math and this guy makes the problems incomprehensible! Hardest class I ever took in my life. 30 in the class, 24 drop!

Horrible! He explains nothing. Many students complained that they were lost and he told them to go to the learning center. He does NOT lecture at all!

I got a B in his class, but this is by far one of the most boring class ever. I didn't learn anything at all and his lectures put me to sleep. All the lab reports are time consuming..........overall don't take this class unless you wanna die from boredom.

Teacher was supposed to be easy, but I lost it. Its painful to have the 3rd highest grade in the class...and end up with a B. Its just painful for the GPA cause its a 3.0 and i'm sure I got a B+. Painful...you can get an A in the class if your good at math....

Let me say that Mr tootelian is a very nice and funny guy, but is a terrible teacher. If you have extremely proficient math skills you'll do well regardless, but if not he teaches nothing, and its all self taught. I just received an A in Organic Chemistry 1 so I'm not a total idiot, but this teacher screwed me over with a C.

Teaches right from the book and uses good examples! Likes to randomly say funky things but still cool. Just read the book (chapters are only 16 pages!), do the labs, finish the hw and there is no way you cannot get an A! Applause for this teacher!!

Helpful with explaining formulas during labs. They are only worth 20% though. Expects a lot of outside practice for exams. Likes to go on about famous scientists like Galileo. He's an interesting guy you feel comfortable with, but likes the idea of challenging you and grades strictly. You be the judge.

He really doesn't teach anything, so are gonna have to learn the course on your own. He is a easy grader so you will get good scores on the exams. He is funny and laid back guy.

awesome teacher. makes engineering interesting with practical applications. funny as hell especially when he swears. laid back guy but not a bad thing.
