It takes a lot to put me to sleep in a history class. But somehow, Professor Marcuse managed to do it. Definitely wouldn't recommend taking a class from him. | ||

Marcuse's lectures can be pretty dull in the first half of the class, and he started using iclickers. There is a lot of work that goes into the class, 2 essays, a long midterm, and the final is a pain in the ass. If you actually read the textbook you will do fine, though. But there's a lot of reading. | ||

Professor Marcuse is an extremely FAIR professor. He cares about his students and does a lot to help them out. He's definitely interested in what the students think and wants a lot of input. Good class. Really nice professor. Not the type of professor who enjoys torturing students. | ||

Very enthusiastic. Class was a little wobbly at times (unsure what was going on) but he was very encouraging and helpful. | ||

amazing teacher. ive heard for the lower division people didnt like him but for upper div hes really enthusiastic and his class is easy to get a good grade in. definetly take a class with him and you'll pass easy | ||
