A very experienced and helpful professor, Dr. Leger is very friendly towards students, and he gets the course material across pretty well and makes sure everyone understands the lectures. Signals and Systems is not an easy subject to score an A, of course, but Dr. Leger makes attending lectures worthwhile and rewarding with his occasional "shorts".

Prof. Leger is one of the best professors I know. He is really helpful, always answers the questions and makes lectures very interesting. His online office hours are GREAT and HELPFUL! Yes, the course is not easy, but it is very interesting. I do highly recommend this professor.

Professor Leger is THE single most helpful teacher I've had in college. He's devoted to the material, and devoted to making sure his students learn it. Homework can be a lot harder than the tests, but his online office hours (!) are very helpful. Tests are relatively easy, compared to the homework.

Key thing with Prof. Leger - you need to keep up or you're screwed. He has occasional quizzes in lecture to make sure u r keeping up, so cramming doesn't work here. He also assigns a lot of HW and is a tough grader. But, I have to say, he's a nice guy with concern for students and willingness to help.

This guy wastes the entire lecture doing elementary proofs of material unrelated to the course itself. He gives no examples whatsoever, with the assumption that the TA's will teach us in recitation. They write problems on the board and tell us to solve them without ever showing us how to do it. The grading is binary.

Best professor ever!!! Extremely clear, insightful, devoted. Materials may be deep but learned great deal. Great courses both in theory and in practice. Very helpful stuff for industry job as well. Cool guy! Like Clinton Eastwood.

I don't know where you guys get all your negativity. Professor Leger is among the best teachers I have ever had. He is amazingly clear and pays great attention to students' needs.

Discussion assignments are overkill. Make students work just to keep up and not learn.

Don't ever take this professor, he is absolutely horrible. Worst teacher I've ever had. Impossibly long and complicated homework assignments that are 1000% harder than any problem he will ever give you an example of.

This guy will help you if you go to him, but otherwise anything he teaches is theoretical. When you have to do homework or take a test, things he's never even talked about will pop up and you'll be stuck guessing

In order to increase attendance at lecture, he implemented closed book quizes. He threatened to penalize students who wished for a grade clarification on the first midterm. He also announced that midsemester he would be adding a discussion MatLab assignment.

The only aspec of the course which is taught during lecture is solely theoretical, which, when time comes to do assignments and tests, you have not had enough exposure as to how to approach the material presented.

Very good prof. Eager to help students who are willing to go to him for help. A tough but fair grader. I would definitely recommend taking a class with him.
