This guy was awesome! The class was fun, and he was extremely helpful! It's a shame this was his last semester, as he is going up to teach in Connecticut. I'm glad I was able to take a course with him (albeit a 6-week course). | |

Basically he's chopped his vocabulary down to two words: "Lame" and "Nice". But once you get used to that he's amazing. I'd take another class with him in a heartbeat. Its really hands on and amazing how much you learn. | ||

Derek is my favorite professor hands down. He gives you room to do just about anything you can think of, and offers constructive criticism. He enjoys his work and his students and it shows through his teaching methods. | ||
