LIS1
Very much enjoyed her class. The grade is based on an appropriate mix of effort and accuracy. She can occasionally misspeak in a lecture and there can be a lot of typos in her online correspondence so sometimes you get wrong or confusing information. Overall very patient and good at explaining if you ask her something specific.
CAT6060
Easily one of the worst professors I've ever had. Extremely vague in her lectures, gave us very little time to complete in-class activities, was rude to students who dared to ask questions on the discussion board and provided very little constructive feedback on assignments.

(Online Course) Although the material is hard, she is very good at explaining it. A number of smaller exercises to see if you understand the material, grades these on effort. Other assignments and quizzes graded regularly, but are fairly easy to work through. Responds to questions quickly, often in the same day. Will meet in person if needed.

Dr. Salaba made me enjoy cataloging. You'll have to do some work in this class, but she's accessible and will help you understand the material. She's very well-organized, too. Highly recommended!

Excellent teacher. She explains very clearly a subject I was unfamiliar with and, admittedly, a little scared to take. She is very helpful, and you can tell she genuinely wants you to learn. Take her if you can!

Dr. Salaba is willing to help if you ask. I thought her tests were a good reflection of the class content, and the online format made them fairly easy. Her grading is prompt and not too terribly strict. The reading and reflection journals get old really fast, though- it's difficult to write a page reflecting on ISBD, AACR2, and MARC21.
