Extremely selfish. Does not take into count that a majority of her students if all are taking other bio classes and not just hers. Literally gave a midterm the Fri. before finals week and had the 15+ research paper due that following Mon. She lies and says you have only 1 research paper. Try 3(the other two exclude materials/abstract).

I have to admit, this was the BEST bio course I ever took at UCSD. Great professor and the material was super interesting. It definitely was not easy, but if you put in the time and effort to understand the concepts, you will get an A like I did. Attend her review sessions and go to lecture (a must!). I highly recommend this course with Chilukuri!

One of the best professor I've ever met in UCSD! She takes her own time holding several review sections before the midterms, and she want the student to learn. She's always in lab, helping students, and she graded midterms herself. Extremely nice personality, very kind. Exams not easy, you have to work hard to get good grade. But very recommended!

Easy A - If you study. Lecture heavy, use book for diagrams and definitions. I got a B+, but I could've studied a little more.

This class is really interesting! Everything that is thought relates to everyday life and the exams ARE NOT tricky. Very straight forward as long as you go to class and literally write down everything she says. If you do that, you got yourself an A.

The nutrition class is super hard! The questions are super tricky and the exams are like 20 pages long. You think the material is easy at first then BAM the test are super hard! Makes metabolic seem like recess..

Yes, this class has a lot of materials to memorize but they are straight-forward. Yes, the exams are long but all you have to do is regurgitate the stuff explained in class. Nothing tricky; nothing that makes you go ?WTF is she asking?? If you cannot memorize and regurgitate simple information, you should've dropped out of the biology major.

I think Prof. Chilukuri is a great professor, she explains everything very well just make sure you write down everything she says. Also, her exams are application based so you have to really understand the material before exams.

She rambles on forever about the topics in discussion. I find reading the book more interesting than listening to her in lecture. For her test you basically have to memorize everything she says and repeat this verbatim on the tests. If you miss one small detail you'll get marked down. Take someone else.

Contrary to popular belief, this class was not an easy "A" at all. Don't buy the book; focus on the lectures at hand.

This class is a piece of cake! You barely need to read the book, but make sure you write down everything she says. Exams are straight forward.

I thought she was a good professor and her tests were fair, although long. Interesting and easy to understand class. Just because it is nutrition doesn't mean it is suppose to be easy, it is an UD bio course. I got the best grade in this class out of all my classes at UCSD.

Her class is easy and straightforward but does not mean you don't need to do "s!!!" and get A. Basically going to lecture allows you to know what you need to read and learn from the book, so that you won't be wasting time reading every little detail.Cuz she's easy, so I took her again in BIMM121 and got an A also. Highly recommend her.

Take Crawford instead!! She is too picky and her exam questions are too vague. She gave me 8/24 on the fatty infiltration of the liver, even though I study this stuff at the lab where I work. Her exams mostly test how well you can read her mind, not how much you know about the subject.

The woman does not stop talking. Taking notes is extremely difficult. She had to podcast her notes and listening to them shows that she does not even breathe- talks non stop. I would study hard for this course. Grading is very specific and difficult. Avoid her if you can.

She expects so much detail in the midterm answers, yet her midterm was way too long to properly answer all the questions. She is a very good lecturer and is very helpful in office hours.

One would think Nutrition is an easy class, and the material is not hard to understand, but the midterms are randomly specific and often don't represent the material you DO know. Section is important, read the book and know your vocab.

She has more pet peeves than the residents of a senior community combined. Negative marking for everything. The grading is unashamedly and unbelievably subjective, and her long, essay-style exams unnecessarily complicate things, and are not a good indicator of the material you know. She is a good lecturer, but avoid her class if you can.

She's a great professor. It is a hard class, and she gives you the great you deserve. if you work hard and study the material she teaches, as well as write out the labs as intructed, then you can get an A. You learn a lot from her.

she's really nice and concerned about her students. the fact that 2 lab reports were due in back to back weeks was not cool; but it was graded fair. midterms are really hard and test you. overall, i recommend her, but make sure that you really try.
