Dr. K is an awesome professor. She teaches at a perfect pace for the class. Her lectures are crystal clear and to the point. If you dont understand anything, her office hours are great! really explains everything out to you. You can tell she really cares about her students. The class is a difficult class but she makes it easy to learn

She's the best chem prof ever. Lectures are crystal clear, tests aren't too hard if you actually study her notes. I didn't even do hw problems or go to workshop and got a B+. She made chemistry fun for me, and I HATE CHEM!! She also has a cute personality, so she kept me awake in class most of the time.

She is not as bad as other people claim. Her lectures are pretty clear and she has a quirky sense of humor that makes lecture fun. Her tests are straightforward with no surprises. If you do mastering chemistry and the suggested homework problems and practice tests, you will do fine. Dedication!

She's not that bad. Very nice woman. Lectures were a little boring but provided helpful examples. Mastering Chemistry homework was very helpful in understanding material. Exams were okay, not hard, not easy.

Her tests aren't too difficult if you do all of the assigned homework problems because she usually throws one of the hard ones on the midterms. Plus there was up to 5% extra credit after the curve. A little boring, but presented the material well.

She's so nice but she doesn't know how to teach. Her exams are hard and tricky and mostly aren't related to her lectures at all. Overall, it was a terrible quarter.

Thank god Farmer taught the last part of this class. It's almost like they put him in last in hopes of saving our interest in Chemistry after it was destroyed by Kauzlarich and Liu. Good luck with the last installment of the horrible triple whammy that is CHEM 2

emm...she gave out free stuff at the end of the quarter. that is about everything i remembered now. i am a lazy person, so i never pay attention during class. i just study one week before test, and i manage to get out with an A, so i assume it's a managable class.

Her teaching is so bad. Wrong lecture happens A LOT. TA is lot more helpful than her. Basically I study by myself, but wut's sad is you better go to her lec b/c the text she uses is much more confusing than her words.

Those of you who are interested in chemistry will love this class. For the most part the lectures are decent. As for the tests, you are expected to memorize the ENTIRE periodic table (why???, they are posted in every lab...). The grading system is extremely unfair, I got a 54 on the first test and mid 90s on the rest but still got a B.

Not the best professor, she clearly understands her subject however, explaining it to he class may be a different story. Her tests are brutal, her grading policies are harsh, and the existence of grad students in her class will crush most people. Go frequently to office hours, memorize everything, or it will be tough. My advice: Run away, quickly!

Explains difficult material very well. Tests were right out of lecture material in 124A; she didn't show up much for 124L (mostly led by T.A.'s), but when she did, was very helpful. Somewhat condescending however.

Dr. Kauzlarich is a very clear lecturer; very easy to take notes off of. Tests were too long and fairly difficult because of the time strain. The class was curved a bit at the end. The bad news is you have to memorize the entire periodic table by the final...the good news is that it's 10 points of your exam. The practice exams are helpful.

Really boring. Not helpful... I was interested in this class before I took it. I was miserable until the day I got to stop seeing those "eagle claws" crawling their way out of those dirty orange sandels.

Dr. K went out of her way to help me when I was working in her lab. She's a sharp woman and a top-notch scientist.

Someone needs to shut this woman up. She hardly has any mastery over the material. Ask her a question and she will probably give you a blow-off answer that doesn't really address the question or, worse, give you the wrong answer. Taking her practice MT, you'll find numerous mistakes. Even on her actual MT, she messed up on the answers.

very difficult material.. thats prob why she seemed so difficult.. shes not too bad.. but pretty difficult to pick up material

shes organized and mostly clear, but she's hella goofy and will waste time in class teaching unecessary stuff. i thought she was the worst teacher from the 2c group of farmer and liu, but she wasn't that bad.
