He can be nice or he can be mean. If he is having a bad day, walk away :) Meticulous when it comes to writing - find a friend/hire an editor, seriously, because he will look at every single word/punctuation mark/phrase. Overall, a positive experience once you figure out what his expectations are. Very nice during the presentations!

Professor Danko makes the class interesting, provides very clear explanations of concepts, and gives everyone time to reflect before moving on. Recommended.

Prof. Danko is one of the best @ SFSU. I took his 780 almost 10 years ago. It was my first accounting class. The class built a solid foundation for my career. I am now a CPA and a financial mgr with a city in bay area. Highly recommend his class.

4 exams, no curve or extra credit. He doesn't care if u fail. He made this class much harder n complicated. 1st exam including 5 chapters, last one including 6 chapters. Sample exam no answer! The type of Qs on S/A never show on real exam. Take it if u wanna stay longer in college .

He doesn't care if you fail the class. Indeed, he has no interest of helping you for success. This class should not be that hard but he makes it much more complicated for you. He sometimes goes over 2 chapters at once which can be really confusing. Lectures are boring. Tests are fairly hard. NOT a recommended class to take, and I really mean it!!

The most unprofessional faculty I've ever encountered. Has been in academia at SFSU since 1986. Which equates to a tenured theologian with absent real world experience. The shame of it all is that he is the only fac to teach this course, which vacates him of any empathy for students learning. Tests deviate from homework, notes not on par with book.

The professor is well-organized with good sense of humor. Exams are harder than I expected but be sure to do all the problems in sample exams, that's the key to get a score! Turn in homework on time, read the textbook & study the powerpoints thoroughly then you'll do fine!

Prof. Danko is the most organized, clear teacher I've ever had. Content is difficult but the book is straightforward and the powerpoints he uses are excellent. Focus on the book and powerpoint notes more than the book and you'll do fine, but you need all 3 to get an A.

Hard class, but do the homework and go to class. For the tests just study notes for MC/TF questions and practice test for problems. Also, going to office hours and getting him to know your name helps.

Clear and not the usual academia BS, this guy is corporate and knows his stuff from the real world. The substance is not super easy but if you do the hw you are fine. Open book/notes exams. Most of the class did very well

ACCT305 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Extremely organized professor. Power-point based lecturer, but creates his own animated slides. Does an excellent job of teaching the material, condensing the tedious textbook. Exams are relatively difficult, but if you have just an okay grasp on the concept + good at math, you'll do excellent on his class. Relatively helpful during office hours

Lots of people have complained that the tests aren't similar to the homework. That isn't true. I thought they were right on. It's a tough class, though, but I think he's a fair grader.

Prof. Danko teaches very unfairly and rushes things too much. He goes through two hard chapters in one day and expects you to be ready for a quiz the next day. As for the exams, as much as you do all the problems in the book, you're going to fail because he throws curve-balls and things you've never went over in class.

Have a superior complex. Condesending. Lack of personality. Hard. If you can stand all of that you probably can learn in his class.
