This prof was very intimidating and made the class feel quite nervous. He seems to be a perfectionist and often forgets that you are taking the class to learn. Very hard marker.

Donsky replaced our prof for a few weeks, and I must say that I was impressed with how clear and structured/organized his lessons are. He is however, not very approachable. If you are a good independent learner and prefer organized/clear notes, he's your prof.

Expects too much for a beginners class, extremely hard marker, unapproachable and will mock you in front of the class. Made me drop french as my minor.

FR1080 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Extremely dull class. He was not enthusiastic at all, very rude, put students down in front of the whole class. Once in a while he tried to make things more clear by making handouts on grammar topics but they were practically a copy of what was in the textbook. He also gave the wrong directions for the final exam (so he screwed over the class).

He deeply cares and strives to do his best to create and maintain a class vibe to help you to push yourself. Do not waste time with petty thoughts or judgments of his style. Do your work and talk to him during his office hours with specific questions in mind. He is sensitive but awesome being!

He's strict in a good way. Always be optimistic and smile in his class; he likes happy people. If you listen and practice your grammar then you will definitely do well in his class. When he picks on you, be confident and just answer him in French otherwise he'll hate you throughout the whole year.

He may be strict but he is actually a very good teacher. Advice: Be optimistic and smile because he loves happy people. If you study and practice your grammar then you will do well in his class. When he picks on you, always be confident and speak up otherwise he won't like you. I swear he can smell fear.

Scary man. Yells a lot and likes to make fun of people. Hates teaching and doesn't care who knows it. Lives to fail people and fails people to live. The only plus is that he will call in sick, an hour before the class begins.

a very grumpy professor. He's never satisfied, and has made many students drop the class. Mimics students to their faces and marks comments about overeating to others. Should be disciplined by his department

He is a good professor, though he might seem cold. His classes are very organized and will be structured the same way each and every class. If you attend and try, you will receive a good grade. Remember to participate.

He's cool, but when he's angry, look out. He has a great sense of humour. My only beefs are that he puts you on the spot a lot and that he assumes you've taken French from 0400 at Glendon- which most of us haven't. A fair marker, and very helpful. Sometimes he doesn't know certain translations, but he does try, and the class helps.

By far the best French teacher I've ever had, he is sarcastic and really wants to make sure you understand course material. Best french prof at Glendon.
