He speaks very clearly when he presents information. Not hard at all to understand him. He'll be happy to answer your questions if he sees you raise your hand, but he usually doesn't stop to see if anyone has any; he just keeps moving. He should get a record for doing the most demonstrations. Every lecture, he does at least 2 or 3 demonstrations

Professor Draper is a great guy. He is extremely intelligent and very clearly explains physical concepts through his words and demonstrations. You will have to do one or two quiz questions with a clicker for each class, and this can get annoying. All in all, he is a good teacher and I would take him again.

Overall, this class wasn't too bad. The lectures are boring and you might not get much from them, but draper and his T.A's are extremely helpful if you talk to them. Also, the grading scale is awesome. Show up to recitations, study the concepts, and you'll do great.

Dr Draper is an awesome guy! He is very funny and likeable and wants to see everyone do well. What made the class that much better was the fact that there was a NotTerryDraper Twitter account and someone in my class was always tweeting like they were him. Overall a great class!

T. Drapes is the MAN. Loves Demos. Gives practice exams that are 75% same as real exam. Extremely easy to get a B. not hard to get an A. Glad I took calculus based physics.

Doctor Draper was among my favorite professors (next to Dr. Ovall for Calculus I/II). He was clear in lecture, his lectures weren't boring (to me, at least!), and he made sure his students knew the subject well. He was very straight forward and his teaching followed a rigid schedule. He was very organized. Because of this, his exams were also easy!

Topics are difficult, and lectures are bland, but Dr D does a really good job of trying to keep our attention with demos, video clips, etc. I really like his tests because he gives partial credit of mcs, and the questions are easier than the homework. The class just takes alot of time.

He really does want to see students succeed. The material is boring, but he does his best to make it interesting with lots of demos. The book isn't too much help, but can be useful if you really need it. I even overslept the first test and he still let me come in later and take it for full credit. Very understanding

I'd never taken a physics class before, so this was the hardest class I'd ever had to take. I'll probably end up with a C and I've been a 4.0 student my whole life. Physics doesn't click with me. Read the book and study homework questions for exams. And good luck.

Super nice teacher, rather boring, but so is the subject matter. Always willing to help a student, remembers you even out of big classes, and is extremely willing to help you succeed. That rates a 10.

A really nice prof, but one of the only prof I struggled to pay attention to. He uses lots of demos, but his fast PP notes makes it hard to take down notes. Book is a paper weight, useless. His exams are either pleasantly easy or crushingly hard. Online HW is extensive and constant. The exams/HW stress the math, but the lectures don't prepare you

Good guy. Not the easiest class ever but hey, it's physics. It's not really supposed to be easy. He made me much more interested in physics than before his classes. Plus physics is pretty much applicable to everything so the class is useful in the real world.

He is a wonderful lecturer, but you feel highly unprepared for exams. He teaches outstandingly when it comes to the conceptual understanding of the subject, but his exams completely blindside you. You understand WHAT is happening, but lack the ability to use that information mathematically. If you have him, be prepared to use your book...a lot.

Good entertaining teacher who uses humor and in-class demonstrations to elucidate on topics. His lectures are fairly easy to follow, but it is necessary to pay close attention. Tests are straightforward and reasonable, but you must know the material very well. the practices tests are in a slightly different format, but same content. Good teacher.

His exams barely at all resemble the practice tests he gives. His tests are hard. Lecture is boring enough to make you want to chop your nuts off, yet it is mandatory. Between him and steve ellis, the physics experience for moststudents leaves you with a lower gpa and a deep hatred of anything physics. I praise God everday I am not ina physicsclass

Very nice guy, but the class is impossible. He mostly does demonstrations in class, and his powerpoint notes are totally useless. He does provide formula sheets for the exams, but they are almost too lengthy to be helpful. Exams are all in-class and are long. Most test questions come straight from examples in the book and quizzes from class.

This class was very hard for no reason. I had taken physics in high school, knew most everything already, and I was in calc 3, so I had a leg up on most students and I STILL struggled greatly in this class. He gives lots of demonstrations, but that doesn't help you solve a homework problem. The final had questions unlike anything discussed in class
