Great class and professor. Very clear, explains concepts much better than the book. Expands on material with techniques which make it easier to validate arguments. Dr. Cady is truly a fine educator.

I had Professor Cady for two philosophy classes; I must say that I was most impressed with my experience in his classes. This is a man that clearly knows a great deal about his subject. Additionally, his personal stories add some flavor tot he class. I would certainly suggest taking any of his classes, he is a great guy.

Cady is awesome. Very smart. I was in awe of him during the 2 classes I took. I honestly did not read through as much. Philosophy texts are very difficult for me to read. Take a class and be prepared to discuss with people with a lot of opinions. Cady handles students with care and is just awesome!

Have taken 2 classes with him, and it is obvious he is one of the smartest Profs at Hamline. He is a great Professor, willing to help students. His classes are discussion based, and he isn't TOO tough of a paper grader. Just do the readings and you'll do fine. One of the most experienced Profs at Hamline, he is definetly worth taking a class with.

Duane Cady is truly one of Hamline's most intelligent and distinguished professors, truly an asset to the school. Don't take his class for an easy humanities credit - you need to do the reading and contribute to the discussions, but if you do that you'll find that Cady is great fun to talk to and always willing to help. He talks like Adam West too.

Cady really cares about his students but the material you read is hard and uninteresting and I'm not really sure he realizes that we're not as into it as he is. The tests are hard and he isn't an easy grader but is a very very nice guy nonetheless.

Cady is amazing and so genuine! He truly cares about his students and goes out of the way to help. He also makes his classes fun and interesting with his great personality.

Cady is hilarious. He describes those tiny desks in the GLC the following way: "If I ordered a desk and got one of these, I'd say, 'wait a minute! I ordered a desk - not a chair with a little wing!'" A good class overall. You just have to keep up with what's going on.
