Professional experienced instructor. Really enjoyed her class. There are 4 exams which you can choose to do essay, or multiple choice your preference. She also allows you to use a 4x6 note card. There are 2 Philosophy reports & 2 observation reports due throughout semester. Opportunities for extra credit are given up to 15 points. Uses book.

Very respectful and fair person. She is a great teacher and a great human being. You'll really learn and grow with her. She is very helpful and one of the best teachers at that CD Department.

I highly suggest this class as a useful and well thought out survey of Special Education today. This class will require your input every week. Chris is well versed in the history and application of special ed and how to meet the various needs of the population served. Take this class and you will grow as person and as an educator.

i loved her class... she is very passionate about what she teaches and is very fair... her tests are awesome becasue she lets you choose between multiple choice and essay.. she says umm... after almost every word but still makes her lectures fun.. i really liked this class hoping to have her in another CDES class

Chris was a great teacher. sometimes kind of boring but an easy grader. and she lets you pick how you want to take your test. for example if u want to do 50 multiple choice 25 matching and 25 essay... etc. shes way cool. take her she knows what she is taking about

I had Chris way back in 1989, I think....she was the best teacher ever...I even ran into her at a Child Development Expo at least 8 years after I graduated and she still remembered me. She is an easy teacher, as long as you are there and show an interest.
