JUDO0631 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Taught Health Law. I was really excited about it, but if anyone can suck the life out of a topic and make it boring, he can. He didn't seem prepared and just kind of rambled on.

CivPro Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Made CivPro even more complicated than it already is... I suggest just reading the Glannon book and going to the BarBri review to prepare

This guy is great. Makes a tough subject much easier. Very dynamic in class, extensive use of slides (which are easier to read). One complaint: exam is a 12-15 page take home. So three days get completely scratched AFTER you spend the prior week studying. Yuk.

Civ Pro I Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

What is everyone smoking? Sure, his humor is a bit eccentric, but he tries to make a tedious subject entertaining and engaging. Besides, he identifies exactly what issues you'll need to spot and address on his exam. What more could you ask for? I'd gladly take him again.

Civ Pro I Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Not the best prof. but seemed to grade slightly easier. I cut him some slack since the topic sucks, only his power point is just as bad. Seems to be one of the prof's who teach because they have too!

What a nerd! The comment about Burris viewing teaching as a chore is right on the mark. I guess he'd rather author some "intellectual" article that will be read by 4 people and have a societal impact of a mosquito fart. He has some chip on his shoulder....what, didn't get into Harvard? Got picked on by the cool kids your entire life? Let it go

Torts I Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

His powerpoints are useless and he is unable to teach without them--a very bad sign. He is a brilliant guy but treats teaching class as a chore rather than a vocation. He is intimidating to the point that I couldn't even talk to him when I was stuck alone with him in an elevator for 3 or 4 floors. But you will learn Torts, so that's a plus.

This guy got hammered by the previous posts... I think they have a point. He can get snappy and has a bookish/nerdy/know-it-all aura. However, I think he is a good teacher. He gives good hypos and is extremely prepared. His personality ticks people off but they should deal.

Civil Procedure Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Avoid at all costs. Presents the material in an overly complicated manner. Also, will idenify students he does not like and hound them all semester. Seems to want and let students know that he knows more than they do---no**** Scott, you're a professor---you're supposed to know more than we do.
