Exams are Hard, most students got C for this spring semester, there do have some students who got A, but not a lot. if you only looking for pass this class take him. Because most student did very bad on his exams, so he curve a lot. you can also take his class with your smart friend, but the exam only have one version.

Great professor! Knows his stuff really well and he wrote the textbook so he knows that like the back of his hand. Makes class fun and has a good personality. I would recommend him to anyone

I got an A in this class, but I had to work harder than I did for other classes. As long as you read the textbook and attend the lectures, you should do alright. His lectures are entertaining, so it won't be hard to pay attention.

Really hard grader, this is suppose to be an easy class but he makes it complicated. The Exams are really tricky,and his grading is really harsh. Won't recommend him

Great teacher! Really knows the material and explains it in a way that is clear. Tests come from what is covered in class exactly, and reading the textbook to review was very helpful!! Would recommend him to anyone

Don't need the textbook. Provides handouts for lecture material. Excellent instructor, keeps things moving with humor and sarcasm. Tests are mostly multiple choice but not the '4 obviously wrong choices and the correct answer' type. Two answers will be very close with often one word being the difference.

Excellent instructor! His only flaw is being stuck teaching the course with Dr. Gilbert. Dr. Aalberts could teach both the law and ethics of this course and it would have ranked among my favorite in this program.

Very good professor, keeps class fun with jokes, lectures interesting and well presented; exams a bit hard- multiple choice but sometimes vague and required a lot of guessing, still A can be achieved. Gives well prepared notes, book is pretty much unneeded, all you need is to study notes. One group project - to write two essays in a group of four.

He is a funny guy and keeps class interesting. Tests cover exactly what is talked about in class. I would recommend this class to anyone.

Great Class. The subject itself is difficult. Take good notes and study and you will do fine. He gives you handouts for each chapter, answer those questions and use them to study and you will do fine. Don't bother reading, most of his questions come directly from lecture. He gives quite a few examples, but he makes them interesting.

Good teacher with a great sense of humor. The only problems are his tests no matter how hard you study for them it seems as if you always fail the thing. If you are looking to just get a C in this course then i recommend him. A very funny professor though

His test are confusion. give you plenty of senario and make you think. If you are not into law then hard luck. Better take with other teacher if you don't want to get a low grade. I go to class, take good note, study hard and barely pass cuase of his test confuse me. I am not into law.

I love this professor, he is so nice. He makes you actually want to come to class because he is so funny. The class in general is a little tough, but just make sure you attend class and study and you'll be fine. He has a very generous curve !

I love this professor. He has a great sense of humor, he's clever. He loves his job. his exams are from lecture and book. He teaches his subject, uses a curve, and is available in his office for additional help.

I agree w/the last rating,I put over 15 hours into studying for his exam and only got a C. I don't understand what I am doing wrong the material doesn't seem that difficult, but the mult. choice tests are "out of left field". I enjoy his lectures, but the bottom line is your final grade. I would not recomend this class unless you're OK w/ a BorC.

Ok, I don't know what is going on in this class, I take excellent notes, I study the handouts but I fail the test, it is like the multiple choice is from a different lecture, I hate this class.

He makes the subject interesting with many funny stories and hypotheticals. He gives review handouts for his tests. Study them hard and take REALLY good notes and you should do ok on the tests.

He makes the course very challenging and interesting. The subject is not easy, but Prof. Aalberts definitely makes it worthwile. He is a very brilliant professor and one of the few that I truly admire. Because of him, I am inspired to become a lawyer.
