I feel insulted, this is an educational institution; washing windows and sweeping floors does not help. she is unintelligent and does not understand anything other than what she has been given as a syllabus 20 years ago.

ART595 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Tina was far too demanding in hours outside of class. During finals week I had to put in 10 extra hours! Also instead of working with interior design programs and in several different scenarios you work on one foam model where how cute it is and how well crafted your little doll house is becomes your grade. Save yourself and do not take this class

its a very challenging class as far as designing and constructing. Its a plus to know the instructor is available for any questions and positive feedback. this course is a good experience.

Art591 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

I was pretty ignorant to the gallery system prior to entering this class, but through Professor Yapelli's teaching I learned first-hand what is required of a museum curator and how to set up my own exhibitions with a more intelligent sensibility. There is labor involved outside of class, but it is reasonable in relation to the amount of homework.

I don't usually give negative ratings, but I also found that the time required on a weekly basis was excessive- especialy when it was required during finals week! I did really enjoy making my model, though. It wasn't all that bad.

ART 591 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Yapelli makes unreasonable demands. She expects people to come to class outside class time for up to 6h a week. This is against SDSU rules but she doesn't care. There is not enough actual design envolved- you will be a janitor at the gallery+ working conditions are unsafe. Unprofessional!

i can echo the other negative ratings and then some. this woman is rude and condecending and very closed minded in her definition of art. take this class for your resume, if you must, but think about asking a prof you like if you could be thier assistant for the semester instead.

Gallery Ex Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: N/A Grade Received: N/A

I registered for this class thinking it would be an easy elective. WRONG!!! It requires HOURS of visiting exhibitions, writing essays, and making elaborate gallery models. AND U R required to become a slave to the SDSU gallery. Should be worth 6 credits.

NEVER TAKE THIS CLASS! It should not even be offered at state. Tina is a rude, close-minded individual who literally treats you as her personal slave. If you enjoy learning about how to be a janitor at SDSU take this class. AVOID THIS CLASS AT ALL COSTS!
